compiler says "missing { inserted"missing { inserted And that the problem lies at the blank line after "voeren}"voeren} in my code. But if the compiler has inserted anything, it still doesn't compile. If I have to insert anything, I cannot see what or where.
\ex.
\textit{dat ik}$i$ \textit{Cecilia}$j$ \textit{Henk}$k$
\textit{de nijlpaarden}$__l$ \textit{zag}
--- ${j(sbj)}$ --- ${k(obj)}$ \textit{helpen} ---${k(sbj)}$ ---$_{l(obj)}$ \textit{voeren}.
However, as pointed out above, such an analysis goes contrary to Goldberg’s (2003:219) tenet of “no…phonologically empty elements” quoted in \ref{wysiwyg}.
