Losing weight and then regaining it is not a discipline failure. Appetite is regulated by hormones, and those hormones push back hard when you lose weight — which is why the fourth diet is harder than the first. A GLP-1 works on that signal rather than on your willpower.

How it actually works
GLP-1 medications act on the signals that tell you how hungry you are and how full you feel. Your clinician reviews whether treatment is appropriate for you. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and individual results vary.
And there is nothing to apologise for in treating this medically. You would not white-knuckle your blood pressure. Appetite is regulated by hormones, those hormones defend a weight your body has decided on, and a medication that works on that signal is not a shortcut around effort you should have made — it is help with the part that was never under your control.

Reviews, in their own words
Selected reviews from Sprout customers, quoted exactly as they were published.
“Customer service is quick to respond and provide a resolution. The physicians are easy access and will answer any questions you may have in a timely manner. First order, the pharmacy was fast to ship, but my second order took 2 weeks to ship leaving me without medication. I suggest reaching out for your renewal 2 weeks prior to the due date. I will be doing that for my next renewal.”
Always Receive Personal Service
“Although this healthcare is through non-traditional e-visits, I have found the providers and customer service folks at Sprouts to be as attentive and responsive as any face-to-face clinic visit, if not more. Questions are always answered by a "real person" with individualized advice and replies. It has been a very positive experience for me.”
“I have been with Sprout 4 months and am pleased with my experience. Calling the support phone number has not been successful for me but response to my questions or concerns via email has been excellent.”
“Customer Service is always quick to respond and help. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 - it would be helpful if Sprout could send reminders/notices about your account. Instances where a card couldn't be processed or something to that nature.”

Every plan, every price
The 12-month plan shows a monthly equivalent; other plans show a rate per 4 weeks. Nothing here changes after a provider approves you — the rate in the bar at the top of this page is the rate at the checkout.
Compounded Semaglutide
Once-weekly appetite support, steady and consistent.
Compounded Tirzepatide
Dual-action GIP/GLP-1, once weekly.
Dosing
Most GLP-1 pages print a table: this many milligrams for four weeks, then this many. We have left it off, because the number in that table is not ours to promise. Your provider sets your starting dose and decides when and whether to increase it, based on your history and on how you are getting on.
What is true for almost everyone: you start low, you increase gradually, and the gradual part is deliberate — it is how the side effects, most commonly nausea, are kept manageable. If it is not going well, that is a reason to message your provider rather than to push through it.
Your price does not change when your dose does. One monthly rate, every dose.
We’ve got you
You take a short quiz about your health and your goal. An independent licensed clinician reviews it and decides whether a compounded GLP-1 is appropriate for you. If it is, they write a prescription and a licensed US pharmacy fills and ships it to you.
One monthly price covers the medication, the supplies, the provider review and shipping. Before each refill you complete a short check-in so your provider can look at your progress and adjust your dose if they think it should change.
Medications prescribed through Sprout are dispensed by licensed U.S. pharmacies that ship to your state. A compounding pharmacy prepares a medication for an individual patient in response to a prescription from a licensed clinician, and works under state pharmacy board licensure, federal compounding law and professional standards such as USP 795 and USP 797.
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality. That is a real difference from the branded products and we would rather you heard it here than found it out later. Compounded medications are prepared for individual patients when a commercially available product is not suitable for them.
It is a once-weekly injection under the skin, using a short, fine needle of the kind used for insulin. The supplies come with your medication, and your provider will go through how and when to take it.
Almost everyone starts on a low dose. Your provider increases it gradually, and how quickly depends on how you are getting on with it. That is a clinical decision, made for you — which is why there is no dosing table on this page.
We do not publish a weight-loss figure, and you should be wary of anyone who gives you one. Compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide are not FDA-approved and have not been through the clinical trials required for approval, so no trial result describes them, and results differ a lot from person to person.
What we can tell you is how your care works. Before each refill you complete a short check-in, and your clinician reviews your progress and how you are tolerating the medication, and decides whether your dose should change. Questions between refills go to your clinician through your Sprout account.
Once your provider issues a prescription, your order goes to one of our partner pharmacies and typically ships within 3-7 business days. Shipping is free, in discreet, temperature-controlled packaging. Tracking is emailed to you and is available in your Sprout account.
Compounded Semaglutide starts at $99 a month (monthly equivalent on the 12-month plan), and Compounded Tirzepatide starts at $149 a month (monthly equivalent on the 12-month plan). One price covers the medication, the supplies, the provider review and shipping. There is no membership or access fee.
Your rate does not change when your dose changes, and the price you see here is the price at the checkout. Plans renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time before your next refill.
Not everyone is approved, and that is the point of having a clinician review it rather than a form. There are conditions where a GLP-1 prescribed online, without an examination, is not safe or not appropriate — a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2, a history of pancreatitis, pregnancy or breastfeeding, a current or past eating disorder, or a BMI below the range these medications have been studied in. If treatment is not right for you, you are told why.
Clinical questions go to your provider through the messaging in your Sprout account, which is the fastest route and keeps the answer in your medical record. For anything about an order, a delivery or a payment, the contact routes are in the footer of this page.

Compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide
Warning: possible risk of thyroid C-cell tumors
In studies in rodents, semaglutide and tirzepatide caused thyroid C-cell tumors. It is not known whether they cause thyroid C-cell tumors, including medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC), in people. Do not use if you or any of your family have ever had MTC, or if you have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2). Tell your clinician right away if you get a lump or swelling in your neck, trouble swallowing, hoarseness, or shortness of breath.
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist and tirzepatide is a dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist. Both are prescription injections used, where a licensed clinician decides it is appropriate, alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity for weight management.
Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are prepared by state-licensed compounding pharmacies. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality. Treatment requires an online evaluation with an independent licensed healthcare provider, who decides whether it is appropriate for you; not everyone is approved.
Before starting, tell your clinician if you have or have had pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas), kidney, liver or pancreas problems, thyroid tumors, gallbladder problems, diabetic retinopathy, severe stomach or digestion problems, depression or thoughts of suicide, or if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant (these medications should be stopped before a planned pregnancy; your clinician will advise when), or if you are taking insulin, a sulfonylurea, or any other medications. Tirzepatide may make birth control pills less effective; use a non-oral method, or add a barrier method, for 4 weeks after starting and for 4 weeks after each dose increase.
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, indigestion, mild stomach (abdominal) pain, and fatigue. These are usually mild but tell your clinician if they persist or worsen.
