The structure of posaconazole and its solvates with methanol, and dioxane and water: Difluorophenyl as a hydrogen bond donor
Abstract
The structures of posaconazole and its methanol and its dioxane and water solvates have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The structures possess similar hydrogen bonding interactions, with that between triazolone groups being common to all three. The difluorophenyl group serves as a hydrogen bond donor in all three structures.
