Proud to see our Operating CEO, Andrew Day, taking part in a panel discussion at the FII Institute Rome event last week. Discussing all things AI in Sport and how it might help investors reshape the game through Club ownership, Andrew was privileged to be joined on stage by Feras Sheraiff and Marc Ganis. A huge thank you to both the FII Institute and HUMAIN for helping to facilitate the panel.
Andrew Day, Head of Sport Strategy, HUMAIN, outlined at FII PRIORITY Europe 2026 how AI is beginning to reshape one of the world’s most competitive talent pipelines: sport. By using computer vision to identify potential regardless of geography, access, or background, technology is expanding the talent pool and creating pathways that were previously out of reach. The next generation of opportunity may come not from where talent is concentrated, but from how effectively it can be discovered. A big thank you to منتدى الاستثمار الرياضي | Sport Investment Forum (SIF) for inviting our colleagues Andrew Day and Richard Felton-Thomas to take part in this fascinating panel discussion. For further insights and to watch the full panel discussion, visit the site below (from 2.54 onwards). https://lnkd.in/eK9XFT_J A big thanks to all involved, particularly the other panellists - Leandro Larrosa Danny Townsend and Ziad Arif
HUMAIN Sport took center stage at the #SIF today, where Andrew Day, who leads the sector's strategy and serves as Operating CEO of ai.io, shared his perspective on how #HUMAINSport approaches innovation at the intersection of sports and technology differently: “At HUMAIN Sport, we don’t focus on the ‘what’ of technology. We focus on the ‘so what.’ Because real value is measured by outcomes of what #AI can do for the fans, clubs, and players - not by its technological capabilities alone.” #TheEndOfLimits

Saudi Arabia’s decision to designate 2026 as the "Year of Artificial Intelligence" marks a defining moment in the signal that AI is now central to the future of the nation and to Vision 2030 itself. Announced by the Council of Ministers under the patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman earlier this week, the initiative reflects Saudi Arabia’s acceleration towards becoming a global hub for advanced technologies and intelligence-driven economies. For me, this moment connects directly to the story behind HUMAIN. On May 12, 2025, HUMAIN was launched by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman as a national AI company, a powerful statement that artificial intelligence is not simply a technology priority, but a strategic pillar led at the highest level of the country. HUMAIN was established with a clear mandate: to drive intellectual property creation, build products, and develop the capabilities required for long-term AI leadership. The objective was never to create another technology initiative, but to build an execution engine capable of transforming national strategy into real platforms, infrastructure, and innovation. The vision was grounded in a simple belief: true AI leadership requires ownership of the entire AI stack. That is why HUMAIN was structured across integrated business units including foundational energy powering AI infrastructure, sovereign compute and next-generation data centers, foundation and multimodal models, AI cloud and platform infrastructure, as well as AI agents, applications, and real-world solutions. This end-to-end architecture uniquely positions HUMAIN to support Saudi Arabia’s national AI ambitions by enabling the Kingdom to go beyond adoption and to build, scale, and export intelligence globally. Our visionary leadership recognized early that artificial intelligence would become as foundational to nations as energy once was. Under Vision 2030, it was made clear that economic diversification and global competitiveness would depend on mastering advanced technologies instead of only consuming them. HUMAIN exists as part of that foresight. As Saudi Arabia enters the Year of AI, the opportunity ahead is not simply technological. It is generational. The Kingdom is building an ecosystem where infrastructure, talent, policy, and innovation advance together. HUMAIN is proud to help power this future, building intelligence from energy and compute all the way to models and applications, supporting Saudi Arabia’s journey toward global leadership in artificial intelligence. #SaudiAIYear #HUMAIN #TheEndOfLimits #Vision2030 #SaudiVision2030 #عام_الذكاء_الاصطناعي
