  • Creator Payments and Early Pay are now live across our client campaigns. Developed within Companion and powered by Lumanu, it streamlines some of the most operationally intensive areas of creator marketing, bringing payments, onboarding, and compliance into a single system. Payment processes remain a structural challenge within the creator economy, with implications for creator wellbeing, content quality and brand-creator relationships. At BDB, we’re aiming to change that with our new technology. For brands, Creator Payments supports stronger, more efficient working relationships. For creators, Early Pay means more certainty around cash flow. Find out how Creator Payments is transforming your campaigns: https://lnkd.in/eG4QwGhy

  • Six years. Six lists. One mission. In print today. We’re featured on the Financial Times 1000 list of Europe’s fastest growing companies for the sixth year running - and remain the only social and influencer agency to achieve it. Sustained, organic growth doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from building work that drives measurable commercial impact. Thank you to our clients, creators and team who have been building it with us since 2014. Excited for what’s next. #FT1000 #AgencyGrowth #FastestGrowing

  • The Creator Fund Cannes Lions is back. Our mission is to break down financial barriers for the next wave of creator-entrepreneurs. We’re giving them a seat at the table, ensuring they’re not just watching the conversation, but part of it. That’s why we’re teaming up with FiveTwoNine and Patreon to bring 20 creators to Cannes Lions 2026. Created in affiliation with Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, this initiative gives selected creators a festival pass, as well as curated introductions and invites to private sessions and exclusive events. This year, we’re excited to welcome Patreon. As a platform powering independent creator businesses, Patreon is helping more of its community unlock the opportunities Cannes Lions provides. To select this year’s winners, we invited some of the most respected voices in the industry to join our independent jury. 🤳 For the latest article in my Influencers Explored series for Marketing Week, I took a look at the world of AI influencers and digital twins, and how marketers can enter the growing space cautiously. With the likes of Hyundai Motor Company and H&M already demonstrating the success they can bring to brands, and Billion Dollar Boy research finding 76% of consumers trust virtual influencers to inform product recommendations, it feels timely for marketers to weigh up the benefits and challenges of potentially investing in AI influencers.   For the article, it was great to speak to Lewis Davey, founder of Pixel - AI Talent Management Agency, and Katrine Rasmussen, CMO at digital twins agency Pixelz Inc, about the industry and the opportunities it holds for marketers.   Davey predicts that "a huge number of brands will own their own AI ambassador virtual talent by 2030", and has witnessed a "willingness for marketers to test this channel more and more".   As well as brand case studies, the article includes insights from Gökhan Girmez, chief brand officer at Gastronaut Hospitality, about how he uses AI influencers for his brands with success, and Ruben Cruz and Diana Núñez Morales, founders of The Clueless Aigency which created one of the biggest AI influencers, about where they see the market going. Hint, it's a hybrid approach, and your 'traditional' influencer isn't going anywhere. Lawyer Kelsey Farrant also notes the need for brands to be transparent on their approach to AI, and explains the law around the topic   Link in the comments for the article, and I'll also drop a link to the Influencers Explored series 🔗

I recently interviewed Billion Dollar Boy, one of the largest and most established creator marketing agencies in the world and also a partner of Portal. In this  Billion Dollar Boy episode of No Shelf Control, I caught up with Simon Harwood and Olivia Cripps,  to talk about where creator marketing is heading, and why measurement now matters more than ever. It’s especially relevant alongside our recent partnership with Billion Dollar Boy, where we’re working together to bring better measurement and post-click visibility to creator-led commerce. We get into what’s broken in influencer measurement, how brand and performance are converging, and why understanding what happens after the click is becoming critical. 🎥 Watch the full episode on YouTube:  https://lnkd.in/eBS7n7be

  • The UK’s Less Healthy Food advertising restrictions have now been live for one month and they are already changing how brands and creators show up online. Paid online ads featuring identifiable LHF products are now banned in the UK, pushing brands to rethink how they connect with audiences while staying compliant. But this shift is opening up something bigger. Less product-first messaging. More brand worlds, distinctive assets, and creator-led storytelling. Our LHF Ad Ban Report breaks down what the legislation covers, how it impacts brands and creators, and how to keep driving performance while staying compliant. Follow the link in the comments below to read the full report and find out how regulatory change can become a catalyst for more creative, memorable marketing. #LHF #LHFAdBan #CreatorMarketing #Advertising
