International Women’s Day isn’t a moment. It’s momentum. That’s why, this year we launched our ‘Give to Gain’ hub – built around hands-on masterclasses, short practical sessions, repeatable resources, volunteering opportunities and structured mentoring. Designed to accelerate opportunities for women across our business and open to everyone. As part of this, we also launched our Learning from Leaders series – mentoring sessions in a variety of languages bringing talent together with senior leaders from across our global business, who are giving their time to share experience, lessons learned and practical career advice. Other highlights include: - AI masterclass led by Head of Collaboration and Client Solutions Lauren Mangan and Director of AI Productivity Will Hyams on how to use AI tools to save time and protect your energy - Confident & Killing It founder Tiwalola Adebayo (née Ogunlesi) leading a powerful session on building stronger connections in the workplace - ‘Hack your Hormones’ session with leading nutritionist Jennifer Still, who shared insights on how to support hormone balance for, more energy, clearer thinking and better health There's incredible activity going on from Mumbai to Istanbul to London – and we’re only getting started. #Howden #InternationalWomensDay #IWD #Culture

We’ve agreed to acquire the Hymans Robertson Insurance & Financial Services (IFS) team, marking an exciting step forward in how we support the insurance market. Alongside the risk and longevity specialists that joined us through Barnett Waddingham (BW), we’re bringing around 90 experts together globally. This means more support for our clients, greater capacity for large and complex projects and even deeper expertise where it matters most. Glenn Thomas, CEO and Global Practice Leader, Health & Employee Benefits, Howden, said: “By bringing together Barnett Waddingham’s long-standing insurance actuarial capability with the Hymans Robertson IFS team’s proven expertise in delivering strategically critical projects, we’re creating a best‑in‑class advisory proposition for clients.” Read more about the acquisition here: https://ow.ly/qGfw50YBawP #Howden #Actuarial #Insurance

The Strait of Hormuz continues to present tough challenges – but the marine war insurance market is open for business and ready to support. A common misconception since the conflict began is that that insurers have stopped covering vessels in high-risk areas. The reality is that notices of cancellation are repricing mechanisms, not withdrawals. The London market is quoting daily. Our latest insight covers what operators need to know – from war risk repricing and charter party clauses to rising cyber threats and the steps to take now. Worth a read if you have assets anywhere near the Gulf. Read more here: https://ow.ly/WcJN50Yy4yX #Howden #MarineInsurance #GlobalTrade #RiskManagement

It’s been a turbulent start to 2026, with war in the Middle East further destabilising an already high-risk world. Against this backdrop, trade credit and political risk insurance (CPRI) plays a critical role in supporting businesses through periods of geopolitical and macroeconomic volatility. Our latest research, as featured in The Economist highlights: ▪️ CPRI enables corporates, banks and public sector entities to trade through volatility and seize high-return opportunities, while protecting against physical asset losses ▪ With a premium base of $49bn, CPRI and the associated surety market stands out for its scale ▪️ Trade credit has delivered an underwriting profit every year over the past decade, despite the severe 2020 recession ▪️ 80% of multinationals plan to use at least one political risk management tool between 2025-30, up from 68% in 2020-25 Our CPRI team, led by Matthew Strong, is here to support businesses with specialist intermediary expertise and leadership. £2.06m in 2023. £4.2m expected by 2026. In a challenging market, this kind of growth doesn’t happen by accident. Our National Sales team – within UK&I Retail's Corporate & Commercial division – exceeded targets, almost doubling income in just a few years and earning the Outstanding Team Award. Bold campaigns, a Travelers Insurance partnership and use of Co-Pilot AI, helped drive their success, while regional expansion, new leadership and 19 new hires strengthened the team and set them up for continued growth. Congratulations to Corporate & Commercial’s National Sales team on an exceptional year. #Howden #Insurance #Teamwork #Innovation #Growth #AI
