Responsible waste management means being clear about what can and cannot be recovered. Not every material can be recycled, but waste arriving through McKinstry’s processes is sorted so recoverable materials such as metal, wood, cardboard, green waste, plastics, rubble and glass can be separated where appropriate. Residual material then follows licensed disposal routes. #Recycling #WasteTransparency #ResourceRecovery #WasteManagement #NorthernIreland

A safe skip delivery starts before the vehicle arrives. Access, ground conditions, overhead restrictions and the position of the container all need to be considered before placement. A little planning helps protect people on site and gives the driver the space needed to complete the delivery safely. If your site has unusual access or placement requirements, speak to our team before booking so these can be considered properly. 📞 028 9082 5362 #HealthAndSafety #SkipHire #SiteSafety #WasteManagement #NorthernIreland

One waste requirement doesn’t always mean one waste stream. McKinstry Group brings together skip hire, commercial waste collections, wood recycling and metal recycling within one Northern Ireland operation. That means customers can start with the requirement on their site and find the specialist service that fits it. Our website makes each route easier to explore, with practical information on services, locations and how to get started. 🌐 mckinstrygroup.co.uk #McKinstryGroup #WasteManagement #Recycling #NorthernIreland #BusinessServices

For businesses, understanding the materials being produced is an important first step towards better separation, responsible handling and clearer environmental reporting. At McKinstry, we work with customers across Northern Ireland to find practical waste and recycling solutions that suit how their sites operate. This week, take a closer look at what is being thrown away — and what could take a better route. #ZeroWasteWeek #WasteManagement #Recycling #NorthernIreland #Sustainability

A great day spent with the people who make McKinstry what it is. Our recent McKinstry Family Fun Day brought colleagues and their families together for an afternoon of fun, laughter and a little friendly competition. With inflatable bouncy castles, face painting, a magician, tug of war and a barbecue, there was plenty happening throughout the day — and it was fantastic to see everyone enjoying time together away from the working day. As a family-led business, our people and the relationships we build have always been an important part of McKinstry. Events like this give us the opportunity to celebrate our team and say thank you to the families who support them too. Thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to next year. 💚 #McKinstryGroup #OurPeople #TeamMcKinstry #FamilyBusiness #CompanyCulture
