A produção recebeu o Gold Dolphin na categoria A10 — Sports, Entertainment and Sponsorship (Esportes, Entretenimento e Patrocínio). Criado no Rio de Janeiro e filmado em um dos cartões-postais mais reconhecidos do país, o filme traduz uma história sobre precisão, performance e o limite entre dois esportes que desafiam seus próprios limites.

#SailGP Inspire exists to engage the next generation of fans and athletes in the sport of sailing through experiences that connect grassroots youth with SailGP and professional athletes. ⛵️ Since launching in 2019, #Inspire has engaged more than 40,000 young people, creating opportunities to experience our sport at the highest level. This week in Geneva, with the support of the Republic and Canton of Geneva and the City of Geneva, we have brought a special Inspire #STEMCity right into the heart of our SailGP Operations tech base. Eight local schools were invited behind the scenes to explore the science and technology that makes our boats fly, how the SailGP race course is designed and built, the agility and decision making needed to race these boats, and the global team and operations behind the world's fastest racing on water. ⚡️ The students met world-class SailGP athletes, including two-time Olympic gold medallist Kahena Kunze (Mubadala Brazil), Olympic gold medallist Florian Trittel (Los Gallos Spain), Olympic gold and silver medallist Iain Jensen (Bonds Flying Roos), Explora Swiss Team athlete Arno De Planta, and Northstar athletes Annie Haeger and Ali Ten Hove. Alongside meeting the crew, the youth got an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the SailGP operation in action. It is a brilliant example of how elite sport can create meaningful opportunities for young people, connecting #STEM education, innovation and grassroots engagement with the excitement of professional sport. None of this would be possible without the support of SailGP’s Global Partner Mubadala, alongside the Republic and Canton of Geneva and the City of Geneva. Together, we are opening the doors to see behind the scenes of high performance sailing and showing the next generation that the future of racing is not just something to watch, it is something they can be part of. 🌎

MSP Sports Capital bought a stake in McLaren at a £560m valuation. Five years later, they sold at more than £3bn. Now, they think they’ve found another F1-style growth opportunity.   Earlier this year, MSP acquired a majority stake in the New Zealand SailGP Team, marking the end of the sailing league’s transition to private team ownership.   Speaking to Steve McCaskill at SportsPro Investment Summit, MSP partner and CEO Jeff Moorad said nothing has come as close as SailGP to matching what MSP saw in Formula One.   Valuations have grown from between US$5 million and US$10 million to around US$70 million. Revenue has increased from US$10 million to US$132 million in six years. New teams have been added in key markets and races now take place on five continents around the world.   And there are other similarities too.   “They have a great business model,” Moorad said. “They have a cap on expenses which levels the playing field right out of the gate.   “The audience is much like a Paddock Club audience in Formula One. So we think we got in at the right time.”   Watch the full clip below and read the full article via the link in the comments. 👇
