Steven Amir reposted thisSteven Amir reposted thisI don’t update my work on here nearly enough, but the last few months at ASOS have quite honestly been insane. The busiest, wildest and, most importantly, most rewarding chapter of my career so far. 💙 Back in June, I was promoted to Talent Manager, and since then, I’ve been lucky enough to work across some of the biggest, most exciting projects of my so far. We kicked off our SS26 campaign by appointing UK's Fashion It-girl Olivia Neill as our Out-of-Office Director, helping us wipe our social feed and kick-start a bold new era for ASOS. Then came Hi-Summer, where Gen-Z Style Icon Rina Lipa joined us as our Style Dilemma Director, helping our customers navigate what to wear for those all-important summer occasions. Fast forward to AW26, ASOS Magazine made its long-awaited comeback after a very missed hiatus, and what a way to return. We welcomed the LEGENDARY mother of makeup, Dame Pat McGrath, as our Guest Beauty Curator; French fashion commentator and critic Lyas as our Contributing Editor; and the UK’s favourite marketing queen, Farron Clark, as our Marketing Insider. And then, this week, following an incredible LFW La Watch Party with Lyas and London based designers Chopova Lowena, we announced that THE Image Architect himself, Law Roach, had joined the ASOS A-Team as our Stylist in Residence. Looking back at everything we’ve achieved over the past 6 months, I genuinely can’t believe how far we’ve come, and I feel incredibly proud to have played a part in it. Growing up, I was obsessed with fashion and pop culture, so to now be at a point in my career where I’m working on projects that genuinely excite me, with people I’ve admired for years, feels like a massive full-circle moment. A huge pinch-me moment!!! None of this would have been possible without the incredible team at ASOS. I can genuinely say they are the hardest-working, most passionate team I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. A massive thank you to Olivia Smith, Steven Amir and Vanessa Spence for believing in me, trusting me and giving me the opportunity to be part of these incredible campaigns. Stay tuned for what's next... 💙

Steven Amir reposted thisSteven Amir reposted thisWe are SO back! There’s been a lot of rumblings like “what’s happening over at ASOS.com?” Well… A LOT 🤭 Where to begin? I don’t even know but will give you a mini highlight of the last few days! We announced THE Law Roach as our Stylist in Residence Saturday morning, which quite frankly broke my side of the internet (haha who knew press got active on Saturdays - I guess you can say perfectly timed with fashion week darling😉)! https://lnkd.in/epUdqauF Then Saturday night we threw a London Fashion week activation with none other than our Contributing Editor, Lyas for his biggest watch party yet - ASOS & La Watch Party showing Chopova Lowena ( https://lnkd.in/e5GTn6Q3 ) So, why a watch party? Simple… Fashion for the People! We wanted to bring fashion fans closer to the show & give some a chance to win a seat at the actual show! We had Dumbo deliver everyone the best smash burgers & poppi to wash it down too 🍔🥤The final cherry on the cake a guest performace from Sasha Keable 🍒🎤 Our cover star campaign launched today starring our very own ASOS A-team Law Roach, Pat McGrath, Lyas & Farron Clark (someone line up EGOT for us… thanks Baron & Baron🤩🏆) https://lnkd.in/ezvYu_Pk & last but not least if you didn’t guess by the cover star campaign, magazine covers & this fat post… the ASOS MAGAZINE is back & digitally on Substack (subscribe here: https://lnkd.in/eDB8dNUF) 🗞️🔥 LOTTE WILLIAMS killed that! Steven Amir reposted thisSteven Amir reposted thisASOS is back. Today marks the launch of our final Autumn chapter, announcing a new direction for ASOS. It all started with the recognition that ASOS has an opportunity to become more than the place people can shop. We can become the stylish best friend that helps you feel your best self and style your moments that matter, no matter how big or small. Once our insight and strategy were locked, we partnered with the incredible team at Baron & Baron to create our Autumn creative wrapper, Behind the Style - an editorial storytelling platform inspired by our magazine roots that takes audiences behind the scenes of our Autumn cover shoot. Instead of telling one story in one launch, we built a narrative across three chapters. It also became the creative thread that unified every product drop across the season. - Chapter 1: Who Is She? Building anticipation around the mystery cover star. - Chapter 2: The Fitting. Revealing the chaos, craft and collaboration behind great styling. - Chapter 3: She Couldn't Make It. An unexpected real-life plot twist that led to the reveal of Law Roach as our Stylist in Residence, while putting the people who bring a shoot together at the centre of the story. We knew early on this campaign would mark a significant shift for the ASOS brand, so it was crucial that customers felt the reset across every touchpoint - from PR, talent and social, to CRM and site refreshes with our new brand codes. Kicking off Fashion Week with a press dinner gave us the perfect opportunity to share what was coming (under embargo, of course), before the news broke on Saturday morning. That evening, our Contributing Editor, Lyas, hosted the biggest La Watch Party yet, reinforcing our belief in fashion for the people. Together with Law and Lyas, the A-Team consists of Pat McGrath as our Guest Beauty Curator and Farron Clarke as our ASOS Marketing Insider, helping us to build an ecosystem of voices that Style Your Moment. A huge team effort as always. You can now read the ASOS Magazine on Substack and shop our new season edit on site. Bring on next season ⭐

Steven Amir reposted thisSteven Amir reposted thisThe boldest partnership british fashion has seen in years? ASOS.com x Law Roach. As the ASOS Marketing Insider, I’ve been sitting on this news for three months. I can finally tell you why I think it’s such a smart move. Law Roach is the stylist to the stars, an image architect and one of the most influential people in fashion. He understands the person wearing the look, the moment they’re stepping into and how they want to feel when they get there. With Law as ASOS’s stylist, the return of ASOS Magazine and its launch on Substack, ASOS is going to real lengths to prove what it means when it says it wants to be your stylist. It’s creating space for the ideas and conversations behind fashion to live beyond a product page. Law is known for dressing icons for unforgettable moments. ASOS is there for the moments in our lives, helping us find something that makes us look good and feel good. Some would say that ASOS has brought together an A team…Law Roach as Stylist Pat McGrath as Guest Beauty Curator, Lyas as Contributing Editor and me as Marketing Insider. Each brings a different perspective on how fashion makes people feel. Together, we get to help make style more accessible, more inspiring and a lot more fun. I’m so excited for you to see whats to come out of this long term partnership ✨

Steven Amir reposted thisSteven Amir reposted thisA partnership that just makes sense… 👀 6 years ago I placed my first order, 5 months ago I made 1 jacket go viral and this week I have just announced I am the official ASOS.com Marketing Insider for 2026. This isn’t just about AD'S or new clothes (even though the New In section is looking rather amazing ) it's about the next era of ASOS. This year, I’ve become known for spreading the message that fashion isn’t just clothes, it’s a catalyst to confidence. And that is everything ASOS stands for. It’s what makes this partnership feel so aligned, and something I’m incredibly excited to see ASOS lean into more than ever before. The Marketing Insider to me is about being given the opportunity to be sat in the rooms with the creatives, visionaries and team at ASOS as someone who is a voice for their customers, whilst also being their target customer and using my marketing lens to bridge the gap between the ASOS you know and the ASOS it’s about to become as your Stylist. And the beauty of this partnership? I get to be the fly on the wall, oversharing girl my audience knows me for, who gets to be in these incredible boardrooms and a part of the incredible campaigns and then tell you all about it. The perfect partnership for a fashion-loving, marketing-obsessed, ASOS-addicted girl. We have a busy 6 months ahead of us 🖤

Steven Amir reposted thisSteven Amir reposted thisThis is a particularly special project to see come to life and be featured by British Vogue✨ I’m incredibly proud to have led the ASOS x Barbour partnership, bringing together an iconic British brand, the incredible archive at South Shields and the creative vision of Jimmy Turrell. So much goes into creating strong brand partnerships like this — trust, shared ambition, creativity and a lot of brilliant people working behind the scenes. The result: 10 pre-loved Barbour jackets, individually reworked into one-of-a-kind pieces — all of which sold almost immediately. For me, this collaboration represented exactly what the best brand partnerships can do: respect what makes a brand distinctive while finding a new and culturally relevant way to bring it to customers. A huge thank you to the Barbour team for being such fantastic partners Sheena Charlton Caroline Hutchings Nicola Brown, and to the brilliant ASOS team who brought the project to life from idea through to launch Jessica Chapman Andy Warner Vanessa Spence Steven Amir Sian Ryan Jimmy Turrell

Steven Amir reposted thisSteven Amir reposted thisPaid Partnership | Fashion has never been easier to find, and that, ironically, is a problem of its own. With millions of products, thousands of brands and an endless stream of content competing for attention, consumers are faced with more choice than ever, but less time and guidance to make sense of it. Rather than telling customers what’s fashionable, ASOS.com wants to help them work out what’s fashionable for them. “If you think about what makes a great stylist, it’s rarely about telling someone what to wear. The best stylists have great taste and know you inside out so that they can make fashion feel exciting rather than overwhelming,” explains Vanessa Spence, ASOS’s executive vice president of brand and creative. “They help you discover things you’ll love, show you how to wear them, and know when to push you slightly outside your comfort zone.” ASOS’s confidence in this approach comes from its breadth of expertise. From product design and trend insight to deep styling knowledge, editorial storytelling and AI-powered personalization, each plays a role in helping customers navigate fashion. Steven Amir liked thisSteven Amir liked thisJust three short weeks ago, I was in Venice with Armani beauty for Venice Film Festival – and I can still barely believe it really happened. A real-life movie moment! A few days centred around cinema, beauty, and culture, at one of the oldest film festivals in the world. An iconic stage for an iconic brand. A particularly meaningful setting in which to bring Armani beauty’s cinematic heritage and cultural voice to the forefront. The press trip brought together red carpet moments, interviews with incredible brand talent and a beautiful Global Brand Ambassador Dinner, celebrating beauty and cinema throughout the festival – with Armani beauty at the heart of the cultural conversation. These moments translated into coverage across some of my favourite titles – Wallpaper*, Dazed, Schön!, Vogue, LOVE Magazine, Fashion Observer, and 10 Magazine – alongside many more! Such a pleasure meeting so many wonderful people and working alongside Solène Darnaud, Emilie Azoulay and the entire Armani beauty team🩷 An incredible project, and a very special career highlight! A project I’m immensely proud of, and one that has me very excited about the opportunities ahead. A huge thank you to the wonderful SOLUNA team for bringing me onto this project💖

Steven Amir reacted on thisEvery quarter, I host a virtual coffee with colleagues from across our Prestige businesses. No agenda. No slides. No questions off limits. Last week, colleagues joined from London, Berlin, Texas, Detroit, North Carolina and Toronto - across businesses, functions and levels*. The conversation kept coming back to one thing: people. I often say talent is my number one priority. In reality, it’s numbers two, and three as well. We’re building Unilever Prestige as a house of companies: distinctive brands led by strong leaders with the autonomy to move fast, backed by the capabilities and scale of something bigger. That requires exceptional talent. My ambition is to build a house of talent too: one that attracts great people, develops strong leaders and gives them the ownership and freedom to perform. Strategy, brands and innovation matter. People turn them into performance. When talented people share a common ambition and have the freedom to lead, distance matters less. Business is a team sport. The best talent is hard to beat. Steven Amir reacted on thisVery excited to see this one out in the world. Welcoming Law Roach as ASOS’ first-ever Stylist in Residence is a brilliant expression of where we’re heading — not just helping customers find great fashion, but helping them discover how to wear it, make it their own and feel confident doing so. For me, that’s where the opportunity gets really exciting: connecting incredible product, inspiration and cultural relevance with how our customers actually shop. Steven Amir reacted on thisLaw Roach is partnering with ASOS.com and Netflix is hiring a Marketing Manager UK film ! ✨ Welcome to THE DROP, where we talk cool campaigns and cool jobs by Victorine ! 👩💻 I've been shopping at ASOS since high school in France, so I'm an OG customer — which is exactly why this one got me excited. ASOS.com just named Law Roach its first-ever Stylist in Residence. If you don't know him, your fave probably does: he's the self-described "image architect" behind Zendaya, Celine Dion and Ariana Grande. Here's the part that I love: Roach announced his retirement from styling in 2023 to focus on Zendaya alone (and a few others)... and now I feel that we (Asos lovers) kinda are his clients ? 🤎 He's styling six covers for the relaunch of ASOS Magazine, back quarterly in digital and limited-edition print. With nostalgia doing heavy lifting in marketing right now, bringing back the magazine and installing a stylist as the brand's point of view is a smart way to say: we're not a marketplace, we're The Stylist.. What actually gets a Buyer shortlisted After briefing buying and planning roles with retailers for years, the pattern is remarkably consistent. Hiring managers ask about the same five things before they've met you: Category and market match. Womenswear, hardgoods, FMCG category DNA matters. Lead with yours. Scale. Portfolio size, store count, SKU count, supplier base. "$45M category, 220 SKUs, 30+ suppliers across four countries" answers the question instantly. Trading Results. Sell-through, margin vs plan, markdown %, stock turn. A buyer's resume without trading numbers is a menu without prices. Range-building evidence. Category launches, supplier negotiations, private label development, range rationalisation that paid off. The planner relationship. The best buyers talk about working WITH planning OTB discipline, forecast accuracy, allocations. It signals commercial maturity. If you're in buying, your resume and profile should answer all five inside the first half page. Planners the same list runs in reverse: forecast accuracy, stock health, OTB management, and evidence you've influenced buyers with data. Which of the five is missing from your resume today? #RetailBuying #MerchandisePlanning #RetailCareers #CategoryManagement #RetailJobs
