Seemin Suleri shared thisA huge part of my role is to bring teams together and find out ways that move us forward better. Today, we are in London with our Customer Care stakeholders talking about how work happens in our teams and how we can improve. Many times engineering teams are removed from the business problems, and this is exactly something we are changing. I cannot emphasise enough the importance to stop and reflect. It is paramount in work as in life. Do yourself a favour today and stop, turn around, look back and find out how far you came on the path you wanted to travel and how far are you from things you’d like to achieve. Both will give you a perspective to move ahead with more enthusiasm and focus. I believe if you add intention, enthusiasm and focus together, results just flow. And also don’t forget to have fun along the way. This was us going for a nice stroll on a sunny morning in central London followed by some drinks.

Seemin Suleri shared thisMy mother is my favourite person ❤️ I suppose she has always been. So many people say I look like her. And I am perhaps similar to my mother in many ways. She understands me, and comes to my side whenever I need her. So much of who I am is because of her. She is a doctor but she showed me what true healing looks like and why helping others is such an important value to hold. I feel so much is focused inwards these days but if we focus just on others instead of always ourselves then we can make a real difference. A true role model for me growing up. I know my mother never ever gives up. No matter what circumstances, she is a warrior, a healer, a friend, and so much more. Happy Mother’s Day ❤️

Seemin Suleri shared thisI created re:connect conference because I was tired of watching the best tech conferences happen everywhere but here. Dorset has so much potential—sharp talent, a beautiful coastline, a growing digital economy—but didn’t have a central conference to gather, learn, and spark new ideas as a community. I didn’t want to wait for permission. So, I built the thing I wished existed. But it would not be possible without the contribution of the hundreds of people from our Dorset tech community. This year we are gearing up to put together an exciting programme again. Watch this space, something fantastic is coming!

This call for evidence seeks evidence on the impact of emerging technologies on women’s participation, progression, and leadership in tech. Insights gathered will help the Women in Tech Taskforce to design, scope, and deliver what works and what needs to change, as the sector evolves. Seemin Suleri shared thisWhat makes a team? Can you really belong to a space when you’re merely thrown together? A good recipe needs all the parts to merge in order to make the flavour right. No matter how different each individual ingredient might be. To really elevate the taste, you have to make the whole thing work. Similarly in teams, things fall apart when we spread people around, burden them with responsibilities and don’t spend enough time developing them, training them, treating them well and bringing them together to familiarise themselves with people they work with day to day. Remote work has added so much to our lives, but to make it really work, we need to bring the individuals together from time to time. I’m proud that we are doing just that at Prima. This week we met at Palermo and learnt about our differences and similarities and how our cognitive defaults might sway our behaviour especially when stakes are high. The discussions were fantastic but the most important thing is the laughter and joy we shared together. Until next time 💜

In simple terms, she’s been helping us think more clearly about how we build and bring new products to market. That means connecting the dots between: – what users actually need – how we position products – and how we test those ideas in the real world We saw that come to life this week at the Bournemouth Business Expo. Rachel played a key role in getting our new product, Date Warden, ready for its first outing, from shaping how we talk about it, to making sure the experience made sense for people seeing it for the first time. Most importantly, she’s helped us turn ideas into something we can actually test and learn from. She’s settled in brilliantly - we’re really glad to have her as part of the team 🙌 #ProductDevelopment #BusinessGrowth #TeamFocus
