2I agree with you, I don't think that there was any UX choice there...Pop Flamingo– Pop Flamingo2014-04-18 13:52:56 +00:00Commented Apr 18, 2014 at 13:52

You cited differentiation but didn't explain from what. Please add the name of the Recycle bin on Mac OS at this time.A.L– A.L2014-04-19 16:17:16 +00:00Commented Apr 19, 2014 at 16:17

1I think that's true. Like Windows putting icons on the right instead of left. You want your windows on the right since you read right to left, so putting the icons on the left is natural. But it had to be different (for whatever reason), so they go on the right.Almo– Almo2014-04-21 15:09:24 +00:00Commented Apr 21, 2014 at 15:09

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. website-design), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
