Sensory Friendly Hour
OCTOBER 3 – Join us for Sensory Friendly Hour at the VINS Nature Center, a special morning experience designed for visitors who prefer a quieter, less crowded environment. For an hour in the morning, we minimize noise, crowds, and other sensory stimuli throughout our exhibits and trails. Guests are welcome to stay and explore at their own pace until our regular closing time at 5 PM.
Member Appreciation Evening Picnic
OCTOBER 7 – Your support makes everything we do possible! To express our gratitude, we invite you to join us for a special after-hours event just for our members. Help us welcome Autumn with a behind-the-scenes program focused on stories not-often-told!
Forest Storytime
OCTOBER 8 – Join an Educator for our early learner’s storytime sessions. We’ll read stories, play games, sing songs, and laugh with puppets. Each session will focus on a different topic to learn about animals, plants, or other wonders of nature. This experience is designed to help promote connection, exploration, curiosity, and joy for the outdoors. (For ages 5 and younger).
