Each year, UCAS and The Independent publish this magazine to help all of you who are planning to go into higher education.
The road to higher education sometimes takes some unexpected turns and I know that some of you who receive Which Way may not get the grades you need to take the place on the course of your choice. You may go into Clearing and discover, like thousands of students before you, that you can find an excellent higher education course this way. Some of you, of course, may wish to take stock and perhaps change tack - maybe consider a different kind of course or take a year out.
Whatever your circumstances, this magazine is packed with information which should help you make informed choices, as well as settle happily into life at university or college. I hope Which Way will be able to provide the guidance you need in the exciting times ahead. I wish you all every success
