Leading article: The choice is obvious. Unfortunately
Ballot papers have now gone out for the second party leadership contest of this political season. Liberal Democrats have three candidates to choose from and three weeks in which to make up their minds. Advance indications suggest that more than half of all party members will cast their vote almost as soon as the ballot-paper lands on their mat.
