NetMeeting Is Not Available on the Windows XP "Communications" Menu

SYMPTOMS

If you click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Communications, the Microsoft NetMeeting program is not available on the Communications menu.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because Setup does not install a shortcut to NetMeeting that can be accessed from the Start menu.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, manually start NetMeeting:
1.Click Start, and then click Run.
2.In the Open box, type: conf, and then press ENTER.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
