Organizational Transformation Certificate Program

The IRM College at the National Defense University offers a graduate-level Certificate Program in Organizational Transformation. Courses in the Program can be taken individually. Completion of eight courses is required to receive a Certificate in Organizational Transformation. The Program includes courses on defense and national security, and homeland security and national preparedness. There are three core courses on Transformation as Strategic Alignment, Leading Strategies for Disruptive Innovation, and Multi-Agency Information-Enabled Collaboration.

The first offering of the Defense Transformation course in this program will be April 09 - 13, 2007.

The course will include sessions on:

  • Revolutions in Retrospective
  • Strategic Guidance for Defense Transformation
  • Technologies for Defense Transformation
  • Strategies for Defense Transformation – Business Enterprise Operations

  • Strategies for Defense Transformation – Network Centric Warfare and Operations
  • Transformation Mechanisms – Organizations
  • Transformation Mechanisms – Management Approaches
  • Resourcing Defense Transformation
  • Creating and Sustaining a Transformational Culture
  • Managing Transformational Change
  • Transformational Defense Leader Strategies and Competencies
  • International Transformation Efforts
