If you entered our Canon outdoor photography competition, well done the entries were of a really high standard and demonstrated lots of hard work, flair and skill. Photography's such a great hobby anyone of any age can have a go and produce results that win competitions like this one.

It doesn't matter what your technical ability is because today's digital cameras will do as much or as little as you want. Our first prize, a Canon EOS 400D digital SLR, is one such camera, but the winner also gets a lens, battery grip, hard case and Canon PIXMA iP5300 printer, worth more than £1,000. And, if that wasn't enough, they win an all-inclusive seven-night holiday for four people at a Mark Warner Mediterranean resort, worth £5,000. The winning picture is shown above; click on the numbers below the winning picture to view the runner-up and commended entries.

The runner-up gets a Canon EOS 400D digital SLR camera and lens, worth more than £700. Congratulations and happy snapping!
