Visiting
Joint Forces Command
Working
as part of the chief of staff’s special staff, the headquarters
protocol office helps facilitate and organize visitors of
various dignitaries to the command.
These
dignitaries can include both current and former U.S. and foreign
civilian and military leaders as well as other guests of the
command.
Among
its many missions, the office:
•
plans, directs and manages a comprehensive protocol/distinguished
visitor program based on a thorough knowledge of Joint Force
Command's makeup to include its relationships with other components
of the Department of Defense (DoD), other agencies, services
and governments.
• provides program management of all aspects of visits
to USJFCOM by various distinguished visitors and academic
groups and
• provides flag-level conference coordination support
to USJFCOM directorates.
The
office also provides expert protocol guidance and support
to the commander and his staff as well as subordinate organizations
on all matters concerning visits, ceremonies, and official
