What is XML Diff and Merge Tool?

XML Diff and Merge Tool is a Java program that can be used for reconciling or understanding changes made by a single user to an XML document OR for reconciling or understanding changes made by several people to a single document.

How does it work?

One XML document is chosen to be the base and another one is chosen to compare it with. The tool points out each difference from the base by use of symbols and color. Then each difference can be walked through and a decision made on whether or not to include the difference.
