Add Script

Submit a script to be added to our directory.

How to suggest a script to our directory

1. Before submitting your script, we ask generously that you please put a link somewhere on your website to our site. You can find a number of links, buttons and logos that you can use at our Link To Us page. Adding a link to your site will not only help us out greatly, but it will also increase your chances of being accepted into our directory. Please remember that Scripts.com is a 100% free directory to submit to, and will send your site many hits. A link back is the only thing we ask. Your help is much appreciated!

2.After you have placed a link on your site to us, you must make sure you register before you can submit your script(s). If you are already registered, please scroll up and look on the left hand side of the screen inside the navigation you will see USER NAME and PASSWORD. Please enter than information and once you are logged in navigate to the category which your script would best be suited in (the categories can be found in the navigation on the left hand side of your screen). For instance, if you are submitting a banner exchange script that is written in the PHP language, your script would need to be submitted to the PHP/Exchanges/Banner_Exchange directory. If you are NOT a member, please go here and Register its FREE!

3. Once you are logged in, go to the directory that best suits your script and press the "Add Scripts" button near the bottom of the page. You must be logged in to submit a script!! This will take you to a form that will allow you to submit your script. Fill out the form with full details. Be sure to put both a summary and description. The better description you put, the better results you will get.

4. We -highly- recommend placing a Link To Us on your web site once you submit a script for review. This will ensure your script gets listed in faster than other scripts, and will also have your script show up as a Partner (which means your script will show up higher than other scripts). This feature is absolutely FREE, all you have to do to be a Partner is to place a link on your site back to us which we validate. This means more exposure for your script(s) and it costs you nothing.

5. After you've filled out the form, your script will be entered into our database for review. We review scripts often, and submit new scripts to our database daily! Once your script has been reviewed, you will be sent an e-mail informing you whether or not it has been accepted to be in our directory. To avoid having your script rejected, be sure to double-check everything when you submit it the first time, especially the URL.

6. Once your script has been accepted, it will appear in our directory immediately. We use a dynamic system designed to bring the newest information to our visitors in real-time. Once you see your script in our database, you can begin having your members rate it. Visit the how to Get Rated page for free code to easily add to your web site to have your visitors vote for your script. The higher your script will be listed, which means more traffic for you!

7. If you choose, at a later time, to put one of our links on your site you are still eligible forthe increased ranking in your category. Click on "Upgrade Script Ranking" next to your script on the My Listings page. A moderator will verify the link before adjusting your partner statusto reflect the link's presence. Remember, this program is free.

8. Crossposting Policy - We understand that there are many scripts which are capable of running across multiple platforms therefore we will allow scripts to be posted across multiple main categories (i.e. PHP, Perl, ASP, etc.) but only if it is a main category listed on the main page of Scripts.com. We will not allow crossposting in multiple subcategories (i.e. PHP/Content-Management and PHP/Open-Directory-Projects). You must pick the main category and subcategory that best describes your script.
