Citizen Science: Tracking Climate Change (broadcast Friday, March 6th, 2009)

Is your pond ice-free this earlier year? Are the spring flowers poking out of the ground at a different time than they used to? Have you heard bird songs that don't belong? A consortium of researchers is asking the public to help track signs of a changing climate by monitoring phenophases, the recurring plant and animal life cycle events that mark the changing of the seasons.
