How To Pitch: Journey
Today on the Morning Media Menu, we analyzed yesterday's most mind-blowing headline: Amazon.com, Inc. agreed to acquire the bustling online shoe e-retailer Zappos in a $850 million deal. The company hoped to bring some of Zappos CEO's Tony Hsieh (pictured) famous customer service and corporate culture to the sprawling world of Amazon.
"It seems like Amazon really is willing to make some effort towards correcting their missteps," said AgencySpy editor Matt Van Hoven, pondering recent PR problems at Amazon. "But they have one of those properties that's so big it might be nearly impossible to be on top of all the time." Click here to listen to the whole show. Matched up against Brian Williams, Katie Couric and Charlie Gibson, Stewart prevailed with 44 percent of the vote.
