  1. You can now use the "report as spam" feature rather than messaging this account. Hooray!
  2. We've got a brand new "report as spam" feature! Read more about it here: http://bit.ly/2YWxvw & here: http://bit.ly/Pspqg.
  3. Someone saying they've got 100s of Google Wave invites to give out & you've just got to RT & follow them to get one? It's a scam!
  4. A bit o'phishing going on -- if you get a weird direct message, don't click on it and certainly don't give your login creds!
  5. If you gave your login and password info to TwitViewer, we strongly suggest you change your password now. Thanks!
  6. When you report spam, don't RT the msg - just report the username. Otherwise, you might accidentally get suspended along w/spam!
  7. Hey, got Adobe Shockwave? Might want to update! http://bit.ly/zeD0i
  8. This doesn't mean you've been hacked -- but it does mean you might want to think about avoiding such risky behaviors.
  9. If you give out your username and pw to a site claiming to get you more followers, updates often get sent out on your account.
  10. Giving out your username and password to a 3rd party site promising you more followers: not a good idea! Please be safe!
  11. General tip: don't retweet a spammer's message. You might get suspended accidentally, and that's no good.
  12. If someone you just KNOW isn't a spammer is suspended right now, their account is prob contaminated and we're fixing it.
  13. No matter how good that "best video" looks, don't go to the juste.ru link. We're aware of the situation and are working on it.
  14. @ehvickery Just saw this -- Lukester does work in Support. Sounds real to me!
  15. @lupin_bebop You can always report 'em and we'll check them out -- though if it'll take research it might be better to file a ticket. :)
  16. @cherluvya You can just send a DM to this username. :)
  17. Others result in you violating our TOS -- often without meaning to -- and getting your account suspended.
  18. Don't believe the hype & sign up for "get followers fast!" programs. They can be scams that steal your username and password!
  19. It's hard to say re: untrusted apps but these are solid: http://bit.ly/18y6lt & these are at least documented: http://bit.ly/I1kTW
  20. We strongly, strongly recommend against giving your username and password to untrusted 3rd party apps. Keep your account safe!
