Short answer: yes it does

Long answer: The website is amazingly vague about who, what, where, when, why or how. No pics, band members, history, etc.

I downloaded 'dragonriders' and gave it a listen. For about 15 seconds. The drums are too far forward in the mix, the bass too buried and the vocalist sounds like he's doing his level best to be Ozzy Osbourne during Black Sabbath days. I haven't heard 'metal' this bad since the New Renaissance label days with their 'Speed Metal Hell" comps.

Is this a one man band? Do any of the members have any experience at all playing together? Have they practiced one bit on cover tunes? The bass player and the drum forms the backbone of the timing section and they ain't playing in the same room to the same tune, as near as I can tell.

You can make, or break, a band with a good vocalist. Anthrax, Megadeth, hell even Slayer's vocalist fits the music. What are you trying to accomplish here? Because it doesn't sound like you are trying to do anything other than a piss-take on metal.

Gawd, I was going to say something negative and snarky, but after an actual serious review pointing out everything I was going to make fun of (plus some things that I hadn't noticed), there really isn't any point. Thanks for taking the wind out of my sails, FJAC. Bastage. ;)

FlyingJellyAttackConfectionary 2010-01-01 07:37:33 PM
The pleasure is all mine :)

Seriously though, I wanted to throw myself on the sword and save other metalhead Farkers from having to listen to this. It really is that bad.

I still would like to know more about the owner/musicians of the website, because I think it's an elaborate piss-take. I was going to say no one is that bad and gets a demo out, but then I remembered this is the day and age of self-production and promotion and internet and such, so yes, they really can be that bad.

doctorwormwood 2010-01-02 01:51:56 PM
really? You got all that from listening to one track out of 30 eh?
especially one as minimalist as Dragonriders which is only Bass and Drums and vocals.. And really I use the term Heavy Metal loosely as it's obviously not what one would consider contemporary heavy metal. Your review is actually laughable to me considering you've clearly only listened to one track and judged the entire content off of it. Try Volume Three.. and Mr Sass.. judging by Your profile you don't like ANYTHING... all you do on there is complain so I'll take your words with a grain of salt as well. I reckon You'd complain about anything that was posted.
Before you start posting about butthurt and whatever other fark cliches you can think of.. Yes it it a one man band, no it isn't meant to be some grand display of musical talent.. it's just where I post my musical goofing off, and I was just curious about what other people would think as I'm really the only one whose heard this stuff as far as I know. Hope you feel very smug, self satisfied and superior about trashing something with a sound thats a bit different from the mainstream metal out there..

doctorwormwood 2010-01-02 01:59:51 PM
Jesus Sass.. I just read your profile.. it's Fark.. not the farking supreme court man.. get over yourself..

Words cannot describe how much this sucks. Seriously, if after recording 30 songs you haven't figured out how to play your instruments in tempo or operate your recording gear properly, maybe you should give up.

doctorwormwood 2010-01-02 03:11:36 PM
I write this from in front of a pile of burning instruments.. I play an opera record while crying tears of bitter shame over the music I've created.. with the realization that you are all right (as always Im sure) I have decided that this and all other creative endeavors I've set about must be destroyed and I must be purged from this earth. OH the humanity and arrogance I've displayed at even considering that I have some modicum of musical talent. Perhaps if I had been witty enough to come up with a name like Flying Jellyfish Attack Thingy or Telephone Sanitizer Second Class I coule stand up and hold my head high knowing I have a creative streak that deserved something other than disdain or scorn. But no.. I deserve nothing but contempt.. contempt for subjecting people to the hideous trauma of my music. Once again.. You are all right.. I should be ashamed of myself.. I'm promptly burning all my musical equipment and deleting all files.. I'll follow it up by also smashing my computers and deleting all recording software..

doctorwormwood 2010-01-02 03:17:04 PM
Thanks alot.. farking depressing.. I guess I've been deluded all these years.

FlyingJellyAttackConfectionary 2010-01-02 03:49:27 PM
So you use the term Heavy Metal loosely and then get pissed when we compare it to real Heavy Metal??

Newflash: if it's not metal, DON'T CALL IT THAT! If I'm in the mood for some 45Grave, for example, and someone gives me Madonna, I'm gonna be a tad hacked off.

And on your recommendation, I listened to *several* tracks from Volume three. They are as bad, or worse, than those from Volume One.

There are *tons* of bands that are one-man operations: Bathory, Burzum, Satanic Warmaster, and so forth that do it right.

Listen, if you want to go all indie-experimental underground basement emo, that's fine, but label yourself as such. If you wanna do metal, then do it right or stop, because clearly you've got a lot left to learn before anyone will take you seriously.

doctorwormwood 2010-01-02 04:11:52 PM
it's just a name man.. I'm not trying to label myself as anything.. like I said .. it's just the dumping ground for my musical goof offs.. and Your review is a negative for anything.. you're not comparing anything to anything.. and You're not pissing me off.. a critic is a critic.. you're obviously the type of person with a very narrow view of what "Metal" is.. your tastes seem to require satanic overtones and dudes dressed up as vikings.. but to each his own.. I asked for it... and got pretty much what I was expecting.. the fark critics being fark critics.. BTW those bands you cite as "doing it right" sound like shiat.. thanks for putting another grain of salt in my opinion of your review.

doctorwormwood 2010-01-02 04:20:12 PM
lol 45 grave... dude ... I've listened further to those bands you say "do it right" Your musical tastes are for shiat... hilarious.. wtf is that shiat.. BOO!!!! we're so scary!! you talk about my production being shiatty and then post that garbage as an example? Wow I can't believe I actually took your review a bit seriously.. That shiat is parodicaly bad.. it's like a joke.. mabye I should start dressing up like a boogey man or viking or some shiat.. drench all my production in muffled shiat and unrecognizable screaming and try and be all scary.. You'd probably love that shiat then.. dumbass..

So let me see if I have this right...doctorwormwood pays Fark to advertise his musical "goof-offs" and asks us if we think it sucks. We say yes we do think it sucks (unanimously so far, I might add), and the response is that because it is just musical "goofing off" we are not supposed to hold it up to the same criteria that we do other music. Is that about it? Because I am fine with that. Seriously, I am. It is a valid point, and I think we ought to take him at his word.

But at the same time, doctorwormwood, let's take a look at something that was said which does not compare you or your music to anything else, and see what you have to say specifically about it. The claim is that the drums and bass, primary sources of establishing tempo in music, are out of time with eachother. Further, it was said that none of the other instruments are following the tempo set by the drums and/or the bass. Goofing off or not, if this is the case (and I find that it is, btw) it is a mistake in your playing, and is no different in that regard from playing a wrong note. Would you release recordings of you "goofing off" if you were playing wrong notes all the time? I doubt it, and if you did you wouldn't be asking people if it sucks or not because you would know already.

So...musically your goofing off is full of mistakes. Maybe you were aware of it, maybe you weren't, but there it is.

Second thing that was said that also has nothing to do with comparing you to other bands is that your sound mix was poor. It is. And this is coming from someone who has worked as a sound engineer. Look, there is a reason that SE's get paid good money. What they do is a lot more involved that pushing buttons, sliding faders, and tuning what they hear to their own ears. If it was that easy then everyone could do it themselves. There is a lot of technical theory behind it, much like music. And much like music, doing it well requires a lot of training, and even more experience. You, clearly, have had neither.

So you see, these two criticisms have merit even though you are just goofing off. But I don't want to lose sight of the big picture here, these are indeed technical issues which may not fit in with your idea of valid criticism of someone's "goofing off". But that just leaves us to judge the music.

As far as the music itself goes, I am not going to judge one way or the other until I hear what it sounds like done the way it was intended to sound. Without hearing it done exactly the way you intend it to be heard, we can not form an objective opinion on it. We are forced to compare it to other things because you have not given us a truly completed song. So tell you what, when you are done goofing off, get serious and bring something here that is well-recorded and well-played. I am sure we'd all love to hear it.

doctorwormwood 2010-01-02 11:07:24 PM
Cheesecake.. thanks for a fairly intelligent review. I don't see the music having varied tempos as being full of mistakes.. I'm into chaotic things including my music and like to shift tempos and timings alot.. and I experiment with it.. the results are what you've seen posted. I don't believe all the instruments need to be in lock step or time.. I actually like a free form and chaotic style to what I'm doing. although the instruments don't have a "tight" sound to them. IMO when taken as a whole and listened to casually rather than analyzing every note.. they come off fairly well. some more than others.. "The Wendigo" is a little more structured as is "Baalzamon".
The songs on the site are the results of about 7 years of goofing around.. most done in one take then multitracked in a few takes.. I don't take it real serious and I don't claim to be some great producer. I pretty much just whip out tracks on the regular just for fun and for writing sake.. mabye somewhere down the road it would be nice to sit down and restructure what are largely chaotic jams committed to tape and produce them properly.. I don't know, I've always just made do with the equipment and knowledge I have as I'm not tremendously dramatic or serious about it.
I don't know man.. When I listen to it I don't hear the horrific cluster fark you all describe and I love music. I listen to alot of it.. I've actually been thinking it sounded halfway decent and was somewhat creative and different than most of whats out there. I've never tried to sound like someone else and I've always just recorded what I liked to play at the time. I'm not trying to please anyone, just get myself off creatively. I simply wasn't expecting the venom and nastiness I got when I posted a $40 dollar ad just for the hell of it.. Sorry if not being broke anough for $40 to mean that much makes me an ass for posting..
I am curious what you mean in your last paragraph.. I can't yank my ears off my head and give em to you so you hear what I hear.. Are you just thinking I should start from scratch or remix/retrack things? or just find a competent producer to remix them? Keep in mind I like music raw and lo-fi and I get the big sounding mixes that other bands put out and everything. And they sound great. I've just never put that much effort into this as it's just a hobby..

FlyingJellyAttackConfectionary 2010-01-02 11:08:55 PM
The example of 45grave was just that, an example. And if you think Bathory is 'for shiat' then you know fark all about metal and that one-man band's influence on metal. Go read a history book on Black Metal, for example, or Vikon Metal, and you will see how often Bathory is cited as a founding influence. The man, the single man, practically re-wrote the book on what could be accomplished in metal.

And you would do very wise to listen to the words of Cottage Cheescake, a sound engineer is not an everyman's job...

doctorwormwood 2010-01-02 11:10:02 PM
and to be clear.. I'm not really "advertising" anything.. I'm not selling anything.. I'm just trolling for opinions.. so yes... they are musical goof offs

doctorwormwood 2010-01-02 11:16:00 PM
dude .. opinions are like assholes Jelly.. the music on that dudes site is not my style or to my liking.. and my engineering is NOT that farking bad man.. I've heard much worse.. on those examples you cite in fact.. I could probably spend more time on the mixes instead of whipping them out as fast as I do but they're not THAT horrible for what they are which is recordings done in my cheap ass home studio.. basically my point is that Your tastes are so far from what I'm recording and you're such a dick about it that your opinion doesn't really mean much to me

doctorwormwood 2010-01-02 11:32:19 PM
not interested in reading a "history book" on bands that dress up in halloween costumes, wear viking hats and pretend to be satan.. I can't farking stand black metal.

What I meant was, you can't expect people to judge something fairly if it is not the finished product. In other words, something that is not goofing off. Asking people to judge what are essentially your practice sessions (both musically and technically) is not fair to them and more importantly it is not fair to yourself.

Here is an illustration of what I mean: Picture Leonardo DaVinci asking someone what they thought of the Mona Lisa before he had painted any of her facial features. All they have to go on is what is there already, because they can not judge what they can not see. So they may comment on the brush strokes that are there, or the color palette, but really it is an unfair question because they don't have enough information upon which to base an opinion on the work yet. Additionally, the opinions which do come in on the brush strokes and pallette will not be useful to DaVinci (and may actually be detrimental!) because they are judgments made without the knowledge of the whole picture...what looks like amateurish globs may be revealed as a masterful use of emotion once the piece is finished. Conversely what appears to be a somber palette may turn out to be completely inappropriate to the facial features when they are added. So listening to the opinions of others which are based on unfinished work is not fair to the artist either.

I am not comparing you to DaVinci, btw, just picked that as a parallel example in another medium. I suppose an easier example would be that you don't send an unedited manuscript (or one that has only been roughly edited) into a publisher for review. You wait until you have polished it and made it as good as you can get it. Same principle though, it is not fair to the reviewer or to the author.

As the creator of the works, you determine when they are finished and when they are still just goofing off. They can not be both, and I think that is at the root of the misunderstanding here. It is important that when that happens that you call it what it is so that people don't get the wrong impression about it. If there is no label which currently describes it accurately, be clear about that so that the people listening to it don't make incorrect assumptions and do your best to come up with a new label of your own...Freeform Metal, perhaps. But whatever you end up calling it, I think it is a very big mistake to put this stuff out there and ask people what they think of it before you yourself even think of it as being a finished work. You are doing yourself a disservice, and putting others in a very awkward position.

MikeSass 2010-01-03 08:26:59 PM

Oh, but there is a label which accurately describes it...."Crap".

I'm calling bullshiat on this guy. He sets up a site full of what appear to be albums, or at least thematically organized songs, and invites the world to share them with eachother. This is the important point: he feels that people will want to share them. That strongly implies that he believes these songs are completed, finished share-worthy products as is. Then when he is told that they suck, he falls back on the soft position that he was just goofing around. I call bullshiat. You yourself said that you spent seven years on these. Seven years is not goofing around, seven years is a long time to spend on thirty songs. I can't see how on earth you would not be able to play them exactly as you want to after all that time, which only leads to one conclusion: These are not you goofing around, these are your serious completed songs.

Here's another reason why I think you are trying to cop out. Why else would you put them up on a website? Where are your other recordings of goofing around from the last seven years? No, these are your legitimate efforts at making music alright.

I'd like to give CC the benefit of the doubt here, but I think there is ample evidence that you are simply enormously bad at many aspects of what you are trying to do. You may be very good at some of it, but I can't tell because the rest of it is so overwhelmingly bad.

I know, I know, you don't like my profile so you aren't going to take what I say seriously. Fine. Who are you going to listen to? Where are the people who say it is good? Even CC didn't go so far as to say that it was good, did he? No, he didn't. So, Mozart, enjoy sharing your songs with yourself because near as I can figure you are the only one who is willing to say that he likes your music.

Truth hurts.

doctorwormwood 2010-01-03 11:26:02 PM
no and neither does your Opinion.. which is what it is. those tracks were played once during recording and I've never bothered to learn what I did.. Those are 30 out of hundreds of even worse tracks of me farking around.. I really don't give a shiat wether you think I'm in some way serious or commited or whatever tired cliches you assign to bands who are "trying to make it" or whatever, whatever motives you apply to my methods. I was just scanning to see what people think.. you are three people.. big deal.. You're obviously just on here to biatch about things for some reason.. you say in your profile how terrible you think the site is, then why are you here in the first place?
You have no idea what I'm trying to do and wether you believe those recordings are rough first drafts that I'm looking for input on is irrelevant, the point is you had to say what you wanted to say in the most dickish and hurtful way possible and that says something about who you are in the first place.. Thats why your opinion means nothing to me and Cottage Cheeses sort of does. He didn't feel the need to be an asshole about it and gave a reserved opinion..
The fact that You're more concerned about "motives" and label is on the music than actually listening to more than 15 seconds of it before blabbling your mouth also qualifies you for dissmissal. Believe me Fark is not the primary source of feedback for me. And with 144 clicks and really only 2 people who seem to feel the need to tell me how bad it is.. especially on fark.. I'm not taking this too harshly.. You just seem to be the two who feel the need to be dicks about it.. in music as far as I'm concerned tastes are irrelevant due to the huge scope of material.. as is mix technique.. I wrote and engineered this stuff to what I like and I like the way it sounds.. at the end thats all that matters is that I like to listen to it in my car or when I'm at home.. I was just curious.. You were just a dick about that.

doctorwormwood 2010-01-03 11:46:17 PM
and seriously if you're gonna be a critic.. help me out.. what needs to be changed on what track.. like I know Machine could use drum retracking.. so that's first on the list.. what else?

doctorwormwood: and seriously if you're gonna be a critic.. help me out.. what needs to be changed on what track.. like I know Machine could use drum retracking.. so that's first on the list.. what else?

Ok, but only because you asked.

First, hire a drummer, a guitarist, and a sound guy.

Second, record it all over again.

Good luck.

LarryWerner 2010-01-04 08:53:55 AM
"You're obviously just on here to biatch about things for some reason.. you say in your profile how terrible you think the site is, then why are you here in the first place?"

And you seem to think that everyone here is only here to biatch, so why did you post your ad here in the first place? I'm sorry, but if you didn't know ahead of time that this was the environment your ad was entering then I have a hard time feeling sorry for you when the response is harsher than you'd like. It is your own fault, and you are reaping the rewards of your own failure on that score.

"You have no idea what I'm trying to do"
No, and neither do you. Unless I am mistaken, that was Cottage Cheesecake's very politely stated point. We can not judge your music because it is so badly done we can't even tell what you are trying to do. We can't distinguish between what is being done badly and what is just not being done attentively. Here in a forum we have the benefit of you telling us which is which, but for someone who is judging your music solely on its own merit, there is no way to tell so it makes no difference. To those people it is all going to be nothing more than an audio assault on the ears. Bottom line, if your music can't stand on its own, without having you explain it, then obviously it is not accomplishing what you intended. We don't have to know exactly what that intent was to know that you have not attained it.

Also, please provide us with links to the other sites you mention where you have gotten a positive response. I would like to see evidence of one single person who has given you positive feedback on your music. If you can show me that I will retract what I have said and STFU for the remainder of the thread. Until then however, add me to the "Yes, it does suck" list.

doctorwormwood 2010-01-04 09:30:25 AM
umm.. I know very well the environment I'm putting the ad on.. and got exactly what I was expecting.. which is why I will ignore all of you and continue to do what I like to do and hear.. and I didn't say anything about EVERYONE being on here to biatch .. just Sass as an aside on my postings..

If I thought it was some grand composition or masterpiece.. the ad wouldn't be asking "Does it Suck?"

I would like to see evidence of one single person who has given you positive feedback on your music. If you can show me that I will retract what I have said and STFU for the remainder of the thread. Until then however, add me to the "Yes, it does suck" list.
Is your opinion really that contingent on what somebody else says? if you dont like it you don't like it.. enough said.. If you think the mix is shiat then you think the mix is shiat. I never said the whole internets was alight with praise for the music.. in fact this is the first place I've posted anything about it on here. I'm talking about feedback on a personal level which obviously can be biased.. which is why I asked you assholes.. I knew I'd get exactly what I'm getting.. the harshest anonymous opinions possible..
As far as music goes , for me it is what it is.. I've recorded and mixed all of this fast and loose.. I record, do a quick mix and forget about it once its in the bin.. I have a shiatload of tracks done like that going back to 96 that I simply don't put up anywhere. I've never intended these to be some kind of finished product, they've always been rough drafts.. I just don't take the internet so seriously that I think buying a domain and putting up a one page index for them is a big farking deal.. it took ten minutes ffs..
And yes there are people in my personal life and actual reality that have a little bit of interest in what I'm doing and want access to the music.. they obviously know me and may be biased but I don't ask for feedback from them anyway.
so once again.. yes I'm very aware of the environment.. no I don't take any of you very seriously, although I may pay a bit more attention to the mix in the future and may go back and retrack the looser stuff and remix. and no I don't need to provide you with links so you can adjust your opinion due to what someone else has said. If that's the driving force behind your viewpoints.. You're talking out of your ass and your wishy washy opinion is of no use to me anyway.

doctorwormwood: umm.. I know very well the environment I'm putting the ad on.. and got exactly what I was expecting.. which is why I will ignore all of you and continue to do what I like to do and hear..

If you truly knew you're environment, then you should have expected MikeSass and the others to show up and you probably should have just ignored him from the beginning. You had more of a chance to get something out of your ad than most, because some people who like metal actually came in and posted. I think your music sucks. Saying that you like your music to be lo-fi and chaotic does not make it good or even acceptable. It's akin to a chef saying he prefers his flavors not to blend well and the dish to be an overall unpleasant experience. Despite what your parents and friends may have told you, being good at something does not mean you can do it to your satisfaction. Being good at something means other people enjoy your work, preferably lots of other people. By all means, continue "goofing around" and continue posting it here for people to listen to. If you want legitimate feedback, try posting to a musical community. You'll only get random people's opinions about your music (which it seems you don't want) here.

doctorwormwood 2010-01-04 11:53:58 AM
Who gives a crap about whats acceptable to who? it's all relative.. the same people who trashed the link I posted would probably trash 9 out of 10 other band links as well.. it's the same type of idiots who are in the L.O.G. thread crowing about how bad THEY suck.. and they sell a ton of albums.. as far as being chaotic and murky THATS WHAT I LIKE.. and it's not akin to a chef saying that.. any more than you liking your steak cooked a certain way and me liking mine a certain way. You're all looking for some absolute on what is and isn't good or acceptable.. my point is that that doesn't exist in music. There's millions of peopel out there who farking hate Black Metal and think it sounds like crap... are they all wrong because you like it.. Are the Celine Dion fans all wrong cause you and I think she's an idiot? no, they like what they like and thats all there is to it..

Zombies 2010-01-04 01:15:45 PM
Your music lacks in an area many people consider to be one of the differentiations between music and noise - rhythm. This is beyond a matter of musical taste. Perhaps you like listening to noise though, which is fine, tons of albums and alarm clocks playing nothing but random environmental noise have been sold.

doctorwormwood 2010-01-04 01:46:35 PM
yeah well thats just like... your opinion... man..

doctorwormwood 2010-01-04 01:52:55 PM
and as far as I'm concerned you've most likely simply though you've found someone you could "take down a peg or two" so you've unloaded on him regardless of the musical content in question. .if you're telling me there's NO rhythm in that music You're FOS and just jumping on the hate it bandwagon.. most likely you've listened to 15 seconds of it like everyone else and cast judgement.

medieval 2010-01-04 03:38:55 PM
Holy shiat this is terrible. Holy christ on a cracker, if I ever churned out something like this for my radio show I would be absolutely ashamed of myself.

Relabel this as "industrial noise" and you have yourself a winner, if you remove the vocalist and whoever is attempting to drum.

lol after skimming the butt-hurt comments I have to wonder why you're all pissy that we tell you it sucks when the damn ad says "Does it suck?"

doctorwormwood 2010-01-04 04:17:51 PM
yeah yeah .. whatever... DJ dipshiat.. 10 years "in the industry" one gig at Asylum and 172 fans on facebook.. yer a real bastion of success too..

doctorwormwood 2010-01-04 04:22:22 PM
and no you don't have a radio show.. you have a webcast you try to pretend is "Nashville's Underground Sound" that you started after failing as a club DJ

doctorwormwood 2010-01-04 04:23:55 PM
and mabye you should do more than "skim the comments" cause they're hardly butthurt.. I simply don't agree with the people who are categorically dismissing what i'm recording as shiat.

doctorwormwood 2010-01-04 04:29:08 PM
and get yer pasty ass back in the basement where you belong.. shiatty techno is shiatty.. I'm not taking musical advice from someone who spins shiat..

medieval 2010-01-04 04:41:53 PM
But what you've posted IS, by any stretch of the imagination, shiat.

You can cry and whine all you want about it, and it looks like you've taken that road already, but what you posted and asked people "Does this suck?" sucks.

doctorwormwood 2010-01-04 04:49:29 PM
Thats your opinion.. again.. There's no crying and whining going on.. but I am going to respond to the critics and say what I think.. What I should just accept your diagnosis that something I like is shiatty? would you do the same if someone unloaded and told you how your remixes were shiat? I think not.. It's not shiat.. You just don't like it.. there are no absolutes.. the opinion of 8 people out of 183 clicks doesn't mean that much to me.. especially considering where it's posted and who's responding.. I LIKE TO DISCUSS AND ARGUE THINGS!!! responding and defending myself does not qualify as whining and crying.. now go out and get some club gigs so you can be a real DJ

Fixed that for ya

"would you do the same if someone unloaded and told you how your remixes were shiat? I think not.."

Actually, when I did ask, and a few people responded with criticism, I went and made modifications, I didn't cry about it. That's how mature people handle getting the feedback they've asked for.

I spin at clubs, on the radio, and I've got a two-hour mix show on DI.FM with an average 1300 listeners on the stream on first play. How much more of a "real DJ" do you think I should be before I'm qualified to answer the question you asked in your ad?

This is the new worst thing that has ever happened to my ears.

doctorwormwood 2010-01-04 05:34:52 PM
what clubs? what station? cause as far as I can see you have a 2 hour show on a internet channel that literally anyone can sign up for.. I could sign up and fart for an hour and broadcast that if I wanted.. I could care less about your pretend DJ business and Career, You're one of thousands of pasty faced basement dwellers pretending to be a big shot in your home city from what I can see... If you had a "radio" show you would be pumping the station and time on your site which you're not.. If you spin at clubs you'd have dates on your site which you do not.. so stop with the bullshiat.. at least I recognize that I'm a nobody and just recording some tracks for the hell of it.. You're in fantasy land..
and god dammit so much JXA...

doctorwormwood 2010-01-04 05:50:29 PM
ok mabye I couldn't fart for an hour.. I'd have to send in a demo of it or something.. but still .. doesn't make you Tiesto or BT or some shiat.. just curious.. do you make beats and original material as well or just spin other people's stuff..

doctorwormwood: at least I recognize that I'm a nobody and just recording some tracks for the hell of it..

When I do things for the hell of it, it usually doesn't last seven years. Also, did you research medieval on google just because he didn't like your music?

doctorwormwood 2010-01-04 06:07:31 PM
no I didn't google him.. but I wouldn't call clicking a profile and website link contained in it investigating.. I'm not gonna pretend I didn't notice.. what's the problem? somebody tells me my music is shiat, I click a link and notice he's a shiatty DJ as well.. whatever man.. it doesn't matter.. none of this matters...

and I thought Hobby=Doing it for the hell of it.

This whole thing is probably the greatest troll in the history of farkdom and really only cost him $40. If not, a grand opportunity has been missed. If so, I'm proud to have participated. Enjoy the thread! :D

Just out of curiosity ... I thought we weren't supposed to be insulting people in the classifieds anymore?

/ Didn't get the memo.

Music can sound like anything, rhythmical, arrhythmical, hell it can even be out of key. It doesn't matter as long as it is interesting. To me, this music isn't. My advice would be to befriend someone with some engineering experience and have them help you out.
