Category:MySQLUserGroups

MySQL User Groups organize face-to-face meetings in hundreds of cities around the world, providing an excellent environment to share your experience with fellow users. Some meetings are informal, with a chat over a coffee or a beer. Other meetings have a more formal nature, with presentations or tutorials. Some groups do both, alternating.

As part of its Community efforts, Sun Microsystems encourages and supports MySQL User Groups and other local groups and activities. MySQL developers and other experts often visit local user groups!

This page lists the MySQL User Groups which we know are active, organized per continent, country and state. If there is no user group in your area yet, please consider starting one!

Once you have started, see this article for hints about how to successfully run your user group.

If you are aware of a local MySQL User Group that is not listed here yet, please add it to the List of MySQL User Groups!

The MySQL Community mailing list is available for general discussion of MySQL Community issues and for exchanging ideas for local user groups.
