Regional Security Officer Ben Sides welcoming senior officials of the Indian Police Service to an ATA law enforcement training course on March 7 in Nasik.
U.S.-India Partnership Against Terrorism
March 7, 2011
Mr. Sides, a Special Agent with the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, thanked his fellow law enforcement colleagues for the excellent relationship and cooperation between US and Indian law enforcement agencies in the never-ending struggle against international terrorism.
The Bureau of Diplomatic Security’s ATA program was established in 1983 to work with partner nations in confronting the growing scourge of global terrorism. This was the 74th US/India ATA course. Over 1400 Indian police officials have attended ATA courses. This was the first such course to be held in the state of Maharashtra.
