Gotta laugh at the motives on display for scoring this down: M_Stannard has some gripe about the (deserved) critical backlash against DA2. So he's in here blasting a game he hasn't even purchased. Some of his buddies likewise. hey guys, get a life, but better, get the game! Guys with tech issues should read online forums to address them. People who don't like the combat or one other facet so score the whole thing a 0 seem to miss the point, that the game is more than the sum of its parts. Agreed certain aspects are far from perfect, but this game has so much more to offer. Over in the 'professional' critics corners it looks like some kind of grudge war, because they had to pay for their own versions of the game, because the company didn't advertise on their site, or again, revenge for the poor scores of Fable 3. U.K patriots all, they work hard to raise the comparative profile of products they want to advocate rather than offer actual professional reviews. Its all politics and **** Then we have the obligatory screaming about 'PC fanboys', again I guess, some kind of revenge for some kind of PSs 'fanboy' flamewar out of the past, nothing to do with the game. Strip out all the BS motives in here and you are left with a user rating of 9.5 and a critic rating of 9.1, one of the best games of the year. Indeed it is not perfect, but it is immensely good and absolutely worth buying, playing, exploring and mastering. Great work CD projekt RED. I really enjoyed it (twice so far). All the infants should grow up, or go and play their own favorites (DA 2 Fable 3, enjoy! LOL If that's where you want to be its also where you belong). This RPG simply blows the competition out of the water. Cry about it if you will. Score it down if that is cathartic for you, but your motives are foolish and your sense of quality impaired by irrelevant, emotional envy and moral impotence. This is a contedder for GOTY. Won't get it because it shows a world to dark, and the difficulty spikes pull it down from perfection. It does need patches. But its bloody AWESOME.… Read More »
