JavaScript.com: The Definitive JavaScript Resource
This simple and short script can be used to delay the loading of any particular image on a Web page. A smaller imageis loaded, which can be transparent or blank, in place of the larger image. After a designated amount of time the larger image can be made to load in place of the smaller one.
This script randomly changes the color of each letter in specified message. Works in all browsers.
Scrolls a message in a textbox. When the user clicks in the box, however, the scrolling text is stopped and the box can be used normally.
Automatically opens a new popup window a given number of seconds after the page finishes loading. The script can optionally be configured to close the window after a few seconds.
Enter a number and JavaScript can instantly tell you if it is a prime number or not. I wish I had this little gem to help me in my math classes!
