Elie Saab’s fall collection focused on accentuating the female form. For day, the designer offered feminine bow blouses, monochromatic suiting, and dresses with strategically-placed black panels that created a slimming silhouette. Saab’s signature red carpet stunners (recently seen on Berenice Bejo, Jessica Chastain, and Nina Dobrev) turned up in emerald, gold, and silver, some with daringly-high slits. Queen Elizabeth Kicks Off Diamond Jubilee in Diamonds

Queen Elizabeth II is celebrating her diamond anniversary on the throne this year—her 60th!—and kicked off celebrations at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London last night. Fittingly, she wore lots of diamonds for the service, including one of her favorite tiaras, known as the “Girls of Great Britain.” The silver crown is an heirloom, as it was a present to Queen Mary on her wedding day from the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland, hence its name, and was creatively designed so it could also be worn as a necklace. (What a necklace that would be!) The piece will be going on display as part of the “Diamonds: A Jubilee Celebration” exhibition of Queen Elizabeth’s most famous jewels, which opens at Buckingham Palace this summer. Today is the 101st anniversary of International Women’s Day! In honor of the event, which is a celebration of women worldwide, several exclusive products rolled out to raise money for non-profit organizations. Reese Witherspoon backed Avon‘s new Empowerment Circle of Support necklace ($5), which benefits the Avon Foundation’s global efforts to end violence against women; Diane Von Furstenberg released totes ($40) and iPhone cases ($25) emblazoned with a “Proud to Be Women” print, the sales of which go to Vital Voices, a non-profit that empowers women globally; and Olivia Palermo curated a collection of baked goods for AHAlife, with 15 percent of profits going to Pencils of Promise to build a dormitory for a girls’ school in Laos. Way to go, girls!

Cameron Diaz Teams Up With Tag Heuer for a Cause

Cameron Diaz is the new face of Tag Heuer, and it’s for a good cause. Her three-year partnership will help raise awareness for UN Women, the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women. “Time is the most precious thing that we have and to be able to do something productive and useful with our time is the most important thing,” she said from the international Basel World watch fair in Switzerland. And she’s a fan of the sporty watch brand: “The first watch I bought was a Tag Heuer at 18,” said Diaz. “The look of a watch on a man or woman is just so sexy and appealing.” Watch a behind-the-scenes video of her new campaign below.
