Glee‘s Naya Rivera and Cory Monteith Celebrate GLAAD and More!

Glee’s Naya Rivera (in Moschino) and Cory Monteith hosted the 23rd annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York City, honoring performers, TV shows, newspapers and films for their fair and accurate depictions of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. “Back home to LA! It was great to get a little taste of NY and thanks again to the @glaad awards for letting me and @CoryMonteith host!” Rivera tweeted. The Glee Bridesmaids’ Look: Target and Ivanka Trump!

Glee fans geared up for the Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) and Finn Hudson (Cory Montieth) wedding during last night’s episode, and we were excited to see what the type-A Rachel planned for her big day. Thanks to the researchers at fashionofglee.tumblr.com, we know the hot pink belted bridesmaids dresses that Mercedes (Amber Riley), Sugar (Vanessa Lengies), Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), Brittany (Heather Morris), and Santana (Naya Rivera) wore are from the Merona Collection at Target, and they accessorized with ivory pointed-toe heel by Ivanka Trump. It’s nice to see the costume designers kept the look budgety-friendly and high-school appropriate—the dress sold for $40, though it’s no longer in stores, and the patent pumps are available for $120 at zappos.com. Sadly, with Quinn’s (Dianna Agron) accident, the “I dos” never happened. Here’s to hoping they’ll pick up where they left off when the show returns in April! Naya Rivera’s SAG Awards Dress: Runway to Red Carpet

Naya Rivera said yes to altering her dress! The Glee actress attended last night’s SAG Awards wearing a beaded spring 2012 Naeem Khan gown with a sexy tweak—no sleeves! “While I am loving long sleeves these days, I felt that Naya should show a bit of skin,” the designer told InStyle.com. “She is young so I didn’t want her to be too covered up.” Rivera couldn’t be happier with the look. “I really loved the color. I’ve never worn baby blue before and I like the silhouette,” she told us on the red carpet. So, what do you think of the alteration?

With Glee nominated for Best Ensemble Cast in a Comedy Series at the 2012 SAG Awards, the show’s female stars all walked the red carpet wearing looks showcasing their different styles. Jayma Mays worked a black sequin Reem Acra gown; Naya Rivera tried a periwinkle Naeem Khan design with a plunging neckline; Amber Riley went for a bow-front black lace Badgley Mischka dress; Dianna Agron added color with her Carolina Herrera ruffle look; Lea Michele showed some leg in her silver Versace body-con creation; and Heather Morris chose an off-the-shoulder leather black mini with a sheer skirt overlay.
