Van Cleef & Arpels’s Mirror Mirror Tiara: All the Details!

Van Cleef & Arpels‘s Mirror Mirror tiara is fit for the fairest of them all! The jeweler lent their stunning headpiece to the Snow White-inspired film (out today!), where it makes appearances on leading ladies Lily Collins (Snow White) and Julia Roberts (The Evil Queen). Created in 1978, the tiara is comprised of 144 diamonds totaling 77.34 carats, set in platinum and white gold. Now that’s a crown made for a princess!

In 2007, Ivanka Trump launched a modest jewelry line. In the five years since, she has created footwear, bags, outerwear, and now: a complete clothing collection. (Oh, and a marriage and a baby.) Joined by her husband, Jared Kushner, as well as her parents, Donald and Ivana, Ivanka previewed her spring 2012 lineup in a fashion show at Lord & Taylor’s 5th-Avenue location in New York City and filled the runway with pretty dresses, pleated skirts, and chic office wear. “Amazing first fashion show! Thank you for hosting it for me @LordandTaylor! I’ll post tons of pics online tomorrow!” the designer Tweeted after the show. After chemically straightening her hair for over a decade, Thandie Newton grew out her curls for two very important reasons: daughters Ripley (left), 11 and Nico, 7. “They love their hair,” the Oil of Olay Total Effects spokeswoman told InStyle.com. “Every day it looks different.” Although she has gotten online flack for their natural look, “I want my kids to be free and not be ashamed of any bit of them.” So she makes the grooming process fun. “I love doing their hair, we sit in the bath together and just kind of hang out and chat,” she said. “The key to [handling] curly, knotty hair is to take your time with it.” Certainly, her own gorgeous mane would inspire anyone to let their curls flow!
