Washington, D.C. Turns Into Party City: See the Photos!

Washington, D.C. was the most popular place to be this weekend! Some of the biggest names in Hollywood jetted to the nation’s capital to catch a glimpse of President Obama for the 98th Annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and the oodles of cocktail parties that came along with it. After garnering plenty of laughs as host of the event—where Reese Witherspoon (in Monique Lhuillier) mingled with New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand—comedian Jimmy Kimmel ventured over to the French Ambassador’s house for the Bloomberg andVanity Fair reception, along with Sofia Vergara (in David Meister), Kate Hudson (in Jenny Packham), George Clooney, and Kerry Washington (in Calvin Klein). “I thought the POTUS [President of the United States] was hilarious,” Tweeted Washington. “It was a wonderful weekend.” See more stars at the weekend’s hottest events—D.C. and beyond—in the gallery.

Ginnifer Goodwin Went to the White House in H&M

Hollywood descended upon Washington, D.C. this weekend to attend the 98th annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner. And while many of the big names chose designer looks—Michelle Obama wore Naeem Khan, for example—Ginnifer Goodwin strolled in wearing a look from fast-fashion retailer H&M. The Once Upon a Time star’s white gown, made with organic cotton, is part of H&M’s new red carpet collection, which has also been spotted on Michelle Williams and Amanda Seyfried. Goodwin’s piece is in stores now for $299. Only 1,000 of these were made, and each is individually numbered.

The Lucky One’s Taylor Schilling: What to Wear to Romance Zac Efron

The Lucky One hits theaters today! Taylor Schilling stars opposite Zac Efron in Nicholas Sparks’ latest novel-turned-film, and to celebrate the tearjerker’s premiere, we caught up with actress to talk about her on-screen style. “When I was working with the film’s stylist Dayna Pink we were really able to keep it beautifully true to a single working mom and what would be realistic for her,” Schilling said of her wardrobe. “It was a thrill to keep it close to reality.” The 27-year-old star wasn’t the only stylish one on set. “Zac Efron is a really fashionable man,” Schilling told us. “He knows what’s up. Remembering Dick Clark

Dick Clark passed away yesterday at the age of 82, and it’s with sadness that we say goodbye to America’s oldest teenager. We first got to know him as the host of American Bandstand, and then he made Times Square a must-see every December 31st with his always-memorable New Year’s Rockin’ Eve show. Over the years, he also chronicled the most of-the-moment singers and stars, including some of our favorites, like Paula Abdul, Hilary Duff, and Mariah Carey. See some of his most memorable celebrity encounters in the gallery now.
