Emm Kuo Spring 2012 Collection: Beyond the Status Kuo

I just love it when a line we have already struck an immediate affinity for goes and ups the ante. So is the case with Emmaline Ranzman’s relatively new line, Emm Kuo. The label is not even two years old yet, and already it’s showing major growth. For their Spring 2012 collection, the sort of glamour that makes my heart palpitate comes together seamlessly with easy utilitarianism. And best of all, Emm Kuo has gotten into exotics, like crocodile and stingray.
Compact and ladylike styles, like the Calle Bahia in lipstick red and the neutral two-tone Westbourne Grove satchel, boast tough-girl hardware in silver and rose-gold metal – a combination I always find hard to resist. The No5 On the Bund makes for a fabulously large nappa clutch, one that you can actually carry without a hassle, thanks to the wristlet strap.
Panels of patent python make certain styles worth really pining after, and you don’t even have to – at crazy-good prices, this brand is proving they offer accessible luxury at its most alluring. I look forward to seeing what comes next from this infant label that looks wise beyond its years.
Available for $373-$1,150 at Milk and AlleyCat Trade.

  1. Love the green and grey crossbody! Modern while remaining classic, perfect balance between two.
