  Game Night 07/21/09 starred Wii Sports Resort, the sequel to Nintendo's popular casual game, Wii Sports. In this episode, Matt Leone dances for the camera, Sam gives a facepalm after seeing Matt Leone dance, Ray Barnholt makes funny faces while perfecting his swing, and the new intern, Yara Elmjouie, takes center stage in his first appearance on Game Night. • 07/15/09 - Game Night: Shadow Complex

  

  On Game Night 7/15/09, Tina and David play Shadow Complex, a game inspired by the classic gameplay of Castlevania and Metroid, developed by Chair Entertainment. Creative Director Donald Mustard joins David and Tina for a night of blasting enemy soldiers, upgrading weapons and armor, and talking about the game's price point.

  On Game Night 5/27/09, David, Tina, and Garnett play Ghostbusters for the 360 and Wii, a videogame developed by Atari starring the original cast members of the movie. Yup, Bill Murray, Dan Akyroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson are back, reprising their roles as defenders against the supernatural. The first half of the show is dedicated to the 360 version; the other half, the Wii version.

  

• 05/19/09 - Game Night: inFamous

  

  On Game Night 5/19/09, David, Tina, and Scooter played developer Sucker Punch's inFamous, a superhero adventure exclusive to the PlayStation 3. The game's known for its protagonist Cole, whose superhero abilities include the manipulation of electricity, and the game also features a karma system that test a player's morality. Watch as we take Cole through the streets of Empire City, blasting street thugs with electricity, climbing skyscrapers, and leaping over gaps like Spider-Man.

  

• 05/14/09 - Game Night: Punch-Out!!

  

  On Game Night 5/12/09 starring Punch-Out!!, Scott Sharkey, Tina Sanchez, and David Ellis rip through the Minor and Major circuits, battling Glass Joe, Von Kaiser, Disco King, King Hippo, Piston Hondo, Bear Hugger, and Great Tiger, and then battle each other in versus mode.

  

• 05/05/09 - Game Night: Bionic Commando

  

  With Game Night's usual hosts Garnett and David out of town this week, MyCheats' Senior Editor Mike Nelson steps in and hosts this week's spotlight on Bionic Commando, a revival of the classic Nintendo game that won fans over with its bionic arm swing mechanics. Joining Mike on the couch are special guests Kraig Kujawa, Capcom USA's director of design, and Sean Mountain, a producer for an unannounced game. Check out Sean's pimptastic controller skills, a jump rated a 9.7 on the Olympic scale, big-ass boss fights, and this-is-not-Spider-Man references!

  

• 04/28/09 - Game Night: Virtual On and Marvel vs. Capcom 2

  

  On Game Night 4/28/09, we brought it back to the old school. We featured Virtual On and Marvel vs. Capcom 2, two arcade games ported to Sega's Dreamcast, and a decade later, ported to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Sam Kennedy, Tina Sanchez, Ray Barnholt, and Richard Li talk about their Virtual On memories, from the expensive cabinets to giant robots to the strategies involved in mech battles. In the second part of Game Night, special guests Crackfiend, Lamerboi, and Haunts of the community Shoryuken, a popular fighting game website, lent us their expertise in Marvel vs. Capcom 2. The Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was cut short due to technical problems, though -- but the matches and footage are top-tier!

  

• 04/21/09 - Game Night: Battlefield Heroes

  

  Game Night 4/21/09 starred Battlefield Heroes, DICE's reinterpretation of the Battlefield franchise, a free-to-play web videogame supported by microtransactions and advertisement. And Battlefield gets a new look! The cartoon-like visuals seems inspired by Valve's Team Fortress 2, featuring exaggerated caricatures of soldiers, tanks, airplanes, and terrain. On Game Night with Battlefield Heroes, regular hosts David and Tina are joined by Mike Nelson, Scott Sharkey, and Justin Haywald. Watch Mike pour his rage on his teammates. "This is a way point controlled game," he said, frustrated by his teammates suckiness.

  

• 04/14/09 - Game Night: Dishwasher and XNA games

  

  On Game Night 4/14/09, we played four games including Dishwasher: Dead Samurai, Supercow, Groov, and Miner Dig Deep. All the games were born out of the XNA community, a collection of independent developers creating games for Microsoft's platform. • 04/07/09 - Game Night: Resident Evil 5

  

  Garnett, Tina, Scooter, and Milky play Resident Evil 5 multiplayer mode on Game Night 4/7/09. Checking out the two modes, Survivor and Slayer, the crew talk about the incessant, bizarre techno music, RE5's signature tank control, mysterious time phallus, and the controversy surrounding Capcom's decision for multiplayer as DLC.

  

• 04/01/09 - Game Night: Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena

  

  Game Night stars Garnett Lee and Tina Sanchez, as well as special guest Andrew Pfister. Watch them play through The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, a remake and expansion of the acclaimed Xbox game, Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. The crew talks about the game's length, combat system, environments, stage design, love for Vin Diesel and the Fast and Furious movies, while answering questions from 1UP's messageboards

  

• 03/10/09 - Game Night: MadWorld

  

  Game Night goes black, white, red, and yellow. We play Platinum Games' MadWorld, a third-person brawler for Wii mixing comedy with action, and red blood in a monochromatic world. Plus, we give a 1UP user a T-shirt autographed by MadWorld's designers, Inaba and Nishikawa! 1UP Editor Justin Haywald joins Game Night's regulars Tina and David as they fight soldiers standing near bang buses in oddly named levels like Asian Town.

  

• 03/03/09 - Game Night: Halo 3 Mythic Map Pack and Watchmen

  

  GameVideos' Nelson Laut joins Tina and David on the couch for a special community Game Night episode. We gave out 50 Halo 3 Map Pack codes to the 1UP community, and invited them for several Halo games on the new maps, Assembly, Orbital, and Sandbox. We also previewed the Watchmen near the end of the show, showing off the opening cinematic and the first level set in a prison.

  

• 02/24/09 - Game Night: 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand

  

  We asked the fans to choose the featured game for this Game Night. They had a choice between 50 Cent and Halo 3 Mythic Map Pack. And the decision was surprising: 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand. On Game Night 2/24/09, Garnett, Tina, and David change their names to rapper names. Garnett is G.Lee; Tina, Lil' T; David, Big Fun.

  

• 02/17/09 - Game Night: Grand Theft Auto 4: The Lost and Damned

  

  "On a hood scale from one to 10, he's about a seven," says Mike Nelson, referencing the main character Johnny in Grand Theft Auto 4: The Lost and the Damned, the featured game on Game Night 2/17.

  

• 02/10/09 - Game Night: Bubble Bobble and Metal Slug 3

  

  While Garnett Lee and Tina Sanchez, Game Night's usual hosts, are out eating water-boiled bagels and thin crusted pizza in New York City, Jeremy Parish steps in as the host of Game Night -- retro edition.

  

• 02/03/09 - Game Night: F.E.A.R 2 Project Origin

  

  "F*** you, Slimer," says Associate Producer David Ellis, moving F.E.A.R 2's protagonist through an abandoned grade school haunted by ghosts and poltergeists. Chairs slide across the floor, pushed by an invisible force. Lights flicker on and off. Smoke and dust fill an entire hall as electricity sparks in the background.

  For 1UP's Game Night on 1/20/09, 1UP's Tina Sanchez and Garnett Lee are joined by former 1UP staff Nick Suttner, Gary Lu, and Peter Brown for a game night filled with falling, ollying, and skating.

  

• 01/13/09 - Game Night: Street Fighter 4

  

  Former 1UP staff including Shane Bettenhausen, Ryan Scott, Greg Ford, Cesar Quintero, Rob Bowen, J. Fresh, and Gary Lu join us for a special Game Night with Street Fighter 4.
