Fashion Star Episode 7: See the Winning Looks (And Our Top Pick)

The seventh episode of NBC’s Fashion Star aired last night, and H&M, Macy’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue all walked away with new designs. But which one did we like most? Our top pick is Orly Shani’s draped blue sheath, which H&M put in the winning bid for. We like the vibrant color and the zipper detail, which allows the wearer to covert the dress to an open-back style. Congratulations, Katherine Heigl! The One For the Money actress and her husband, Josh Kelley, have adopted a daughter, People reports. The new addition to the family joins three-year-old Naleigh, a little girl the couple adopted from South Korea two years ago. “Josh and I started talking about adoption before we were even engaged,” Heigl told Scholastic Parent & Child earlier this year. Click through to see more Hollywood moms out with their little ones.

Last night, the star worked a rosy dip-dyed ponytail at the Los Angeles signing of her book The Fame Game. “Lauren wore a spiked collar and wanted a dip-dyed fuchsia pony to offset the look with girly-ness,” her hairstylist Kristen Ess told InStyle.com exclusively. “She asked for the color about an hour before the event. We literally dipped her hair into a bowl of semi-permanent color in the kitchen sink, then styled her hair into a bouncy Barbie ponytail!” Conrad is no stranger to edgy hues: She’s worn peach tips and blue highlights, and she even dressed up her strands with pink chalk last year. Do you like her new look?
