In April, PEOPLE and Botox Cosmetic teamed up to find five “real” women who weren’t only beautiful outside, but on the inside, too.

It turned out to be an easy task — there were tons of entries! — and five months later, the five winners of the “Women Just Like You” contest are all smiles in the Best Dressed issue of PEOPLE magazine, on newsstands now.

The ladies — Terry, Titi, Valerie, Sabrina and Aimee — were flown to New York City this summer for a glam photo shoot, where they received makeovers, posed for photographer Dorian Caster (pictured) and were styled by designer Lela Rose.

“They’re such an interesting group of people, in what they do, the impacts they have on their communities, their families,” Rose tells PEOPLE. “And they’re also quite attractive!”

From left, the winners are:

Valerie: An L.A.-based actress, Valerie was nominated by her sister for her work with Council in Schools and her web project, AngelsAmongUs.tv, where she encourages citizens to recognize people making a difference. “I want to shine a light on the everyday people around us,” she shares. “And I want people to realize the difference they can make moment to moment.”

Titi: Titi takes care of her husband, who’s battling Multiple Sclerosis and nominated his wife for the “Women Just Like You” contest. “He didn’t tell me anything, and when I found out I was really surprised,” she says. In addition to her caretaker duties, the devoted mom spreads messages about exercise, and encourages women to stay healthy for their families.

Sabrina: Not only does Sabrina look after her mother, who’s partially disabled, but she works for a cancer-fighting organization and raises money for cancer research through her two hobbies: photography and baking. “I’ve found a way to turn my passions into a way to help others,” she says.

Aimee: Texan Aimee sets an example for others through her entrepreneurial spirit: she and her best friend recently launched a denim line, something that was four years in the making. “We want to motivate other women,” she says. “And we also want to make women feel great, sexy and beautiful in their jeans.”

Terry: A mother of two, Terry spends her free time volunteering with the University of Washington women’s soccer team, which she played for during her college years. “Sports was a great way for me to gain confidence, experience and meet mentors,” she says. “I want to pass that on to other girls.” She also volunteers through the Innovators Network, which encourages young people to get involved in cancer-related causes.

All of these women are inspiring! Volunteering, care-taking, educating, these women sound like many of my patients who make a difference in the lives of the people around them. It’s true, Botox and other cosmetic surgery is not just for Hollywood celebrities anymore, extraordinary women that you see in your neighborhood everyday take care of themselves this way too.

The Jeans from hip Chixs is a great concept. Beyond buying jeans at a store, you buy higher self esteem and comfort… We, girls from all over the world, really need it, and shocks me no one offers that anywhere. I’m proud of you guys! Hope you make it big someday.
