from September 2002) Welcome to my home page. I moved my pages to the bellatlantic server in October 2001 from the the pubpages server at UNH where it resided from August 1995 to October 2001, prior to which it sat at MIT. I grew up mostly in Columbus, Ohio. While there, I attended the Columbus Academy and volunteered at COSI. Eventually, I graduated and decided to go to college in the Boston area. When I was at MIT, I lived in MacGregor House, G Entry in Cambridge. While there, at times I was in the undergraduate physics department and in June of 1995 I earned my Bachelor's degree in Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences. I spent my summers and a good deal of the school year there doing research on volcanoes on Venus using data from the Magellan spacecraft. I recommend that all students in engineering and the sciences get involved with research as soon as they can in their undergraduate careers. |
In late August, 2000, I began my internship at Portsmouth High School as a physics teacher, which lasted through May or June 2001. After teaching the summer version of 406 in June & July 2001, I taught physics and natural science at Lynnfield High School in Massachusetts, from the end of August 2001 through June 2003. In the summer of 2002 I taught Physics 408 at UNH, which is a calculus-based thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism course.
In August 2003, I began teaching physics, a ninth grade integrated science class, and chemistry at Groton-Dunstable Regional High School.
Although our server setup prevents a direct counter program. This page has had over 58,260 hits since its move from MIT in September of 1995 until it was moved off the UNH server in September 2001.
