News flash: Verizon.net email
Unfortunately, due to policies implemented by Verizon, we are unable to
send any email to verizon.net email addresses at the present time. This
means that all verizon.net subscribers to the mailing lists have been
dropped, and will be unable to resubscribe.
For further information, please see the on line discussion.
To be quite clear: We are not blocking Verizon email. We are
not running open relay mail servers. We are not a source
of spam. The only people who can help you are Verizon support. Please
address your complaints there. Thanks.
Update: Verizon hasn't changed their policy, and their mail servers
continue trying to send undeliverable messages to the mail servers
at this end. Therefore, as of 2 February 2005, we have no option but
to firewall their mail servers in precisely the same way that they are
firewalling us. This does not affect any service since any messages
from Verizon wouldn't get through anyway - certainly not until they
return from cloud cookoo land, climb out of their tree and get some
real policies.
