To update Lightroom to 6.2.1, choose Help > Updates

To update Lightroom to CC 2015.2.1, Click "Update" in the Creative Cloud desktop application next to Lightroom.

Currently tethering from Lightroom with Leica and Nikon cameras is not functioning under El Capitan.

If you tether with either camera maker with Lightroom, might consider holding off from updating your Mac to El Capitan.
