The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, Chicago, has made its National Food Safety Education Month materials available online at its web site. The Training & Promotion Guide, themed "Check It Out Before You Check It In," can be found @ www.nraef.org/ifsc.
Each year, the NRAEF's International Food Safety Council (IFSC) supplies the restaurant and foodservice industry with a training and promotion guide filled with weekly training activities and promotional pieces to help industry professionals take part in Food Safety Education Month. All weekly activities, promotional materials and theme artwork are now available online in downloadable formats.
"Having the materials online is an efficient and effective way for industry professionals to engage employees in weekly activities related to this year's theme, which highlights the procedures necessary for purchasing and receiving safe food," said Mary Adolf, president and CFO of the NRAEE
New this year, restaurant and foodservice professionals will be able to download activities in Spanish and obtain additional tips related to this year's theme from IFSC sponsor companies. …
