Celebrate 10 years of Open Source Bridge with a 1-Day Unconference and Party!

This year will be the final year for Open Source Bridge. We’ve had an amazing decade with all of you exploring the ways open source is part of our work and lives!

Open Source Bridge has always been run by a dedicated group of volunteers. While the conference has been hugely meaningful for us, personally and professionally, the amount of unpaid labor required to put on a 4-day conference like this isn’t sustainable indefinitely.

To close out the event, we’re celebrating what we’ve accomplished and experienced as a community. It’s important that we have the opportunity to explore together what comes next.

To do this, Audrey and Christie from the original organizing team are returning to organize a scaled-back, one-day event on Friday, June 29th, 2018 at the Eliot Center in Portland, OR.

The event will follow an unconference format, with a few keynotes as well as an afterparty. We’re looking forward to possible sessions on the past and future of open source, and best practices for development and community organizing. Additionally, we’ll be back to back with this year’s Indie Web Summit, happening at the Eliot Center Tuesday and Wednesday, June 26–27.

We’re finalizing the details and ticket registration will be open soon. Because we’ll be in a smaller space, we’re limiting attendance to 200 people and recommend you get your ticket as soon as you can!

Thanks for an awesome ten years and we look forward to seeing you in June!
