Science plans to go live.

Are you a scientist trying to figure out the trajectory of your career? As we grow in our lives and work, we may begin to wonder—is it time for a change? Are you looking to pivot to something new?

Questions like these are ones often faced in the “Working Life” series from Science Careers. On 21 November at 12:00 Eastern Time, we want to continue the discussion started by several Working Life articles in our first-ever Facebook Live focused on Science Careers.

Join us for a ...discussion with Gisèle Muller-Parker and Yumeng Mao about how they pivoted in their careers—one from academia to government, and one from industry to academia.

You can read their Working Life articles here:

Our cells are in a constant state of flux—growing, dividing, and continually responding to their environment. Failures in cellular quality control are linked to cancer and other diseases. Deciphering the mechanics behind these quality control processes and how they are regulated as disease develops should help us understand, prevent, and even treat a wide range of conditions.
