State judge temporarily halts Pennsylvania election certification

On Wednesday, the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania issued a temporary injunction prohibiting state officials from taking further action in certifying 2020 election results pending a hearing on mail-in ballots scheduled for Friday. Pennsylvania state officials filed an appeal to the state Supreme Court and said that the injunction will not impact the state’s presidential election certification process.
