We welcome everyone who has an interest in the ancient world and our members are diverse – from practising teachers to enthusiastic amateurs; students of all ages to academic specialists. We hope you will join us in our mission to increase access to the study and enjoyment of classical subjects.
Classical Association members receive our e-news monthly and Omnibus magazine twice a year, access to the recording of the Presidential Address given at our annual conference, as well as periodic offers from publishers. Members can subscribe to Classical Association journals at substantially reduced prices and take advantage of bundled subscription rates. Members can also access the Hellenic and Roman Library in London, and further information on these arrangements can be found here.
There are also more than twenty-five independent, affiliated branches across England and Wales which you can join to access your local classics community and a range of interesting events. See our Branches page for further information.
How to join
Membership fees are annual and are payable each January. You can take out or renew a Classical Association membership by credit or debit card via the CA Shop. We also accept Sterling and US Dollar cheques or Direct Debit payments from a UK bank account.
