SpeedyLicensing provides software-license creation, sales integration, activation management, validation, and protected release delivery from WordPress.
The Free edition supports:
- Manual Lifetime, Fixed Term, and Trial licenses
- Automatic licenses after paid WooCommerce orders, including paid renewal orders
- Separate Product Rules for simple products and sellable variations
- Activate, validate, and deactivate API requests
- Device limits and development/staging exclusions
- Software Releases, protected downloads, and update metadata
- Customer license delivery and self-service license information
There are no product-count, license-count, activation-count, time, or revenue quotas imposed by the plugin. Saved activation limits are the limits you intentionally assign to individual customer licenses.
Need recurring subscription automation?
Free processes paid WooCommerce orders, including paid renewal orders, and supports manually managed licenses. License Manager Pro is a separately distributed plugin that adds synchronization of existing licenses with subscription holds and cancellations, remote storefront provisioning, webhooks, imports, migrations, and advanced operations.

Installation
- Upload and activate SpeedyLicensing on the WordPress site that will manage licenses.
- Open SpeedyLicensing and complete the Integration Guide.
- Create a manual test license, or install WooCommerce and create a Product Rule for a product or variation.
- Connect the licensed software to the activate, validate, and deactivate API.
- Test the complete workflow on staging before selling or distributing software.

Is WooCommerce required?

No. WooCommerce is optional and is used for automatic paid-order-to-license creation, including renewal orders, and customer commerce screens. Administrator-created licenses work without WooCommerce.

Does Free stop after a certain number of products or licenses?

No. The Free edition does not impose usage quotas.

Does Free automatically follow subscription renewals and cancellations?

Paid renewal orders are processed like other paid WooCommerce orders and can create a new license under the matching Product Rule. Free does not synchronize subscription holds or cancellations with previously issued licenses; administrators can manage those licenses directly. Automatic synchronization is included in the separately distributed Pro edition.
