Category Update hook

Hello,

Thank you for the plugin.

On my website i’ve created a function that checks for a custom field of dates. If the date is in the past, the category will be automatically removed. Problem is that it’s not being removed from the plugin dashboard, so when selecting the category i want to reorder, i still see contents that is technically not in this category anymore. (When i click on the content, the category is unchecked but i need to click on the save button so it wont appear on the plugin anymore)

Is there a way for you to tell me which hook/function i can call to update/check the category content used in the plugin ? This way i will integrate it in my function.
