• Good morning, I’ve had a problem for a few days now. My CSS used to work perfectly, but now I need to update a rule, and when I do it through the Astra CSS customizer, the rule doesn’t apply to the design and does not appear in Google Dev Tools

  • Hi @johana1223

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    Could you please share the CSS code you’re trying to apply in the Customizer that isn’t working?

    Hi yes the css is very simple it is:

    .is-menu.is-first form{
    right:0!important;
    left:auto!important;}

    The thing is that I tried switching to my default theme and the css could be added. Do you know what can I do to add my css with the astra theme?

    Hi @johana1223

    Thank you for writing back to us.

    Generally, adding the CSS code by following this documentation should work.

    However, sometimes the caching plugin prevents the CSS from loading.

    So, can you please try one more time after clearing your browser, website, and CDN caches, if you have any? You may temporarily disable the caching plugin for testing.

    Good afternoon, I’ve already tried cleaning my browser and website, disabling my cache plugin, and making sure I’ve entered the CSS correctly, but the CSS still isn’t being applied. The rule I already published in the CSS customizer doesn’t appear in Google’s DevTools. Could this mean something? Also I notice that some rules of my CSS are being applied and others aren´t. For example this rule is being applied:

    .xoo-wsc-sc-count {
    width:11px!important;}

    And this other to fix the header not:

    #id-cabecera-pp-escritorio {position:fixed!important;}

    Hi @johana1223

    Thank you for writing back to us.

    First, please make sure the CSS rule is correct and that it targets the appropriate class or ID.

    Also, try switching to a default theme like Twenty Twenty-One and check whether the issue persists. If it does, the theme is likely not the cause.

    Also, you’re using Elementor in that case, can you please try adding the CSS by following this guide?
