Feed generation failure – without issues

    Hi, we also use the paid version but this case we use the free one.
    Since a few weeks i get these daily mails:
    ***
    Feed generation failure on ….
    This is an automatic message from your Product Feed Manager for WooCommerce plugin. One or more product feeds on your …… failed to generate. Please check the status of your feeds and try to manually regenerate them again.
    Should this problem persist, please open a support ticket.
    ***
    Strangly enough i don’t see any issues with the product feeds, they run every night, contain all items.
    That mail is also being sent out on multiple times, even times when there is no feed (re)generated.
    I also clicked on “Clear feed process”, no results.

    Any idea here what i could do?

    Hi @davelo,

    Thanks for reporting this issue.

    Can you check your Feed Manager -> Settings page and confirm if you have the “auto feed fix” option switched on or off?

    Auto feed fix is switched off.
    All these options are switched off: Disable background processing, Feed process logger, Show product identifiers, Omit price filters,

    Thanks for the info @davelo.

    The message should only be send when a feed fails processing in auto mode. I will investigate if I can make it more robust and let you know.

    Good morning @davelo,

    Thanks again for reporting this.

    I’ve improved the way the plugin detects and handles errors to prevent unnecessary failure notifications from being sent out. I’ll be releasing an update later today, and after updating the plugin, this behavior should be resolved and run much more smoothly.

    Please let me know if you still experience any issues after updating.
