Improvements/fixes to lists–free version
-
Dear WordPress-Team,
I hereby propose some improvements/fixes you really should implement in one of the next updates.Problems:
-Lists cannot be centered on a website, which can cause some awful looking layout because lists stand out on the left side.
-Links added in lists are not underlined, which makes them hard to find as a visitor of a webpage.Thank you for your time and considerration. I hope to see these features implemented in the future.
Best Regards!

First of all, thank you for your suggestions and ideas. However, I’m not quite sure what exactly you’re getting at.
First of all: you are also part of the “team” at WordPress. Anyone can contribute – with ideas or practical implementations – depending on their skills.
But I’m also unsure what you mean by “free version” in your title. The software here on wordpress.org is free, open-source software. You don’t have to buy any of it.
With that in mind, I’m also wondering which lists you’re referring to? There are countless ways to display lists using WordPress. Feel free to share a practical example via a link or screenshot so we can see exactly what you mean.
Hey there threadi,
First of all, thank you for your response!Firtsly, what I ment by lists, are the lists, which you can create using the WordPress-Editor to make your own website display some listed items. The free version about which I have been talking about is the free plan at wordpress.com. (If you did not already know there are also a personal-, premium- and business-plan.) The display problems of the lists are just that they can’t be centered and links do not become underlined on the user’s end. I have included screenshots for clarification.
Lastly, I did not mean the wordpress.org site itself but the one of WordPress.com, explicitly the wp-admin. Before writing about this topic here, I asked the AI-Assistent on the wordpress.com website where I could present my proposals/noticed problems with lists and that’s how I got here to wordpress.org.
Best Regards!
The pictures disappeared due to a missing alt attribute. I will add them shortly via link.

Your question refers to a website hosted at wordpress.COM. However, you are here in the forum of wordpress.ORG. The difference is explained here, for example:
What’s the difference between WordPress.org and WordPress.com?
