Themes not working at all

    Hi.
    I’ve just started learning and working with Word Press. When I try to use any of the following in Appearances: Themes, Customize, Header, and Background the box is totally blank. For Themes the outlines of the theme options show up but there is no image. Just the little x in the upper left hand side. I did reinstall word press to no avail. Please help!!
